Ebay will not protect legitimate sellers, they are only concerned about the money they collect from con artists, thiefs and bad businesses.

Issue#1 Ebay is a front for stolen goods. We are a legitimate retailer of goods, and are concerned about moving our inventory. However, we can not compete against pricing that is below the manufacturing cost. Manufacturers are tracing products and are finding out that that stolen equipment is the main sales on the sites like ebay. Ebay does nothing to police items besides vehicles, and they do not care to because they still make money on items sold on their site. How can a retailer compete in price when inventory from authorized retailers cost us money when a thief has a cost of $0 invested in the products he sells. Everything a theif sells is profit because it costs him nothing to steal it.

Issue#2 Ebay does not protect sellers and or help them when they are frauded. Case in point- I had an auction that I paid for a 10 days, and to have it showcased along with a reserve. The auction alone cost me $50 to post. In my first day, the item met my reserve within 50 viewing it. 9 days later, I have 2 bid retractions dropping the price to below half of my reserve and 2500 have already viewed my auction. The reason for the retraction was wrong bid amount, and ebay says if this is the case you enter your correct bid, however they simply retracted their bid. After contacting both individuals, SLEEPYx187, and ibanaboyz-kalihi(80896819) had decided they did not want the amp anymore. Of course I complain to ebay about binding bids, and that they have wasted my investment of my auction and that I should get a refund, and of course no response. They have my money so it does not matter to them.

Issue#3 Ebay does not protect sellers from non paying bidders. I have had 2 non paying bidders, and I value my 100% positive feedback. If I make a negative feedback, then I am sure I would get retalitory feedback from them. Both buyers claim that they no longer want my item, remember bidding is a binding contract, unless you are on ebay. So I file the non paying bidder, and 1 month later they have still no re-imbursed my fees. They have my money so it does not matter to them.
