In 2009 we planned a visit to Glacer Canyon Wyndham Resort to celebrate a grandaughters birthday. While we were there we got with the staf get updates on our membership. We were introduced to Ernie Lynch Member Services Executive. After a presentation we were offerd the purchase of additional points to our membership. At this time Ernie said that since I was a veteran and that since I had never recieved a Veterans discount that this was my last opprotunity to recieve this special discound. After we got home we were to wait 14 days before we were to send in my discharge papers. He even knew the number this paperwoork went by,so I was not his first victim. Come to find out there is no such discount, we got the discount from previous point purchases. After talking with a few Wyndham poeple who contacted us after our complaints, they continued to say we recieved all the discount possible, no other offer was made to set this right, I was only interested in canceling this last purchase, but I was past the backout period.

This past month We bwere again at Glacier Canyon for a ski outing to bring our families together. At this time we were introduced to Cody Childes. Who talked about the Club Wyndhan Plus program. This would enable us to use our points better. As the presentation progressed we found that we could get airfare in continental US for 50000 pts and Alaska and Hawaii for 80000 pts. Nowhere was there anything mentioned about flights being available or blackouts. Then when we got home we tried to get a reservation at a resort we find out that only the points we purchased for the Club Wyndham we available to make these reservations out 13 months like we were told in the presentation. We Platinum owners with over 1,000,000 points. This program is of no use to me. We bought because we were told of the cheaper flights that we could get with the program and 13 month in advance booking. Cody talked of our number of point and how we coud use them. We will not go to another presentation again. Beware they will not tell you all that you need to know. They will leave out the downsides of this program. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
