I purchased an expensive Onyx Table from Xuat Anh Art & Stone while on a trip in Vietnam.
I was given a price and was told that there would be minimal fees in the U.S. to import the table. This was UNTRUE. The fees were almost $2,000, and I am quite sure Xuat Anh Art & Stone knew this as they are huge exporters.
They also did a poor job of packing the table and it arrived damaged. It was a major ordeal to repalce the table top, which took over 3 months.
When the 2nd table arrived, it too arrived damaged. Why: two reasons. The workmanship of the table is substandard (joints expoxyed together were still not dry, so they fell apart). Their second packaging attempt was better, but still was substandard for such a fragile item.
Save your money and do not purchase any large items from Xuat Anh Art & Stone.

We had exactly the same experience, except ours was with an 800 pound marble statue purchased in February 2014. Instead of accepting their offer of a replacement statue (with an additional out-of-pocket expense of $1,000 to get it out of customs and have it shipped to Miami and then to our home), we requested a partial refund in order to cover any repair costs, etc.
Our request was flatly denied. We then requested an insurance claim be filed. Insurance refused to pay because there was no official document stating exactly when and where the damage occurred. Instead of a beautiful memory, we have an extremely heavy broken statue in our garage.
Xuat Anh now refuses to communicate with us.
