Yellow AAA Cab ripoff BAIT AND SWITCH Laguna Niguel California

I checked several taxi cab companies to get the lowest price. The dispatcher at Yellow AAA Cab said the trip would be a flat rate of $45. I asked if they took credit cards: Yes. The driver was half an hour late, which made me late for appointment. When we arrived he said the cost was $66 and wanted cash. I told him what the dispatcher said and he said that was wrong, and that they prefer cash. I asked what he would have done if I brought cash, no more than $45 plus for a tip. He said they would arrange something. I paid and got away.

This is a company to avoid. One local taxi cab company publishes on its web site a flat rate of $60 for local transportation. If you risk yourself with Yellow AAA Cab, get a phone recording system at Radio Shack and record what you are told on the phone. I bet if you tel the dispatcher you're recording (which you must do), he'll be more truthful.
