I have lots of bad experience to this company. But last night December 13, 2013  was the worst night ever. I went to 88 Supermarket at Victoria Drive, Vancouver to do so grocery shopping. So around 9pm the grocery store announced that they will close soon. So I went to cashier around 9:10 pm  to pay my grocery bill. While I'm paying the cashier I phoned the Yellow Cab so I'm not gonna wait that much longer for the cab.

I was been on hold to their line for 10 minutes before some dispatcher will talk to me. When the dispatcher talk to me to get everything what they need he was yelling at me, I thought that I have a bad connection but it was not. When I gave him my location  he asked me 3 times where is the exactly address coz they can't see where's my address. Then when he found it he said the estimated time for the cab will come.But I requested that maybe they can give me a call when the cab has arrive on my  location because it was rainning out side, Im carrying lots of grocery bags, I'm alone outside and it's really cold. But the dispatcher said that they can't call me or advice me if the cab has arrive becauase they don't do that on their company. Then after that I'm still talking to him but he hang up call. So after I talked to him, I asked for a favor to one of the stuff at the grocery store to help me to bring out everything what I bought. When I get out side I waited there for almost 20 minutes. Around 9:43pm there's a cab driver stopped in front of the store but he did'nt park. The driver yeld at me and rushed me to get into the cab. So I carried all my stuff even though it's heavy and when I'm 4 steps away from the cab the driver run away. I thought he will just go around to the back alley so he can park and help me to the grocery but he didn't comes back. I gave him 5 minutes coz maybe he will come back but e didn't. So around 9:50pm I phoned again and request for a new one.

This 2nd dispatcher was nice, he even say sorry for the delays. Around 10:05pm the cab came. Same as the first one he didn't park in a right area and he was yelling and ruahing  me too. So I got pissedI carried some of ,y grocery bag and throw it at the back seat and get the rest of my grocery. He knews that I was pissed, maybe my voice might get higher. But I can't help my self to stop yelling at him to specially when he said it was not my cab. How can not be my cab if I'm the only person there waiting for a cab? He even treat me that he will a police because of my attitude. So I close the door of the cab and he said that he will charge me for banging the door. But I didn't  bang it. Maybe when I close it I pulled it hard because I need to. I was not sitting at the seat properly because of the grocery stuff so I close it harder so it will be close. The driver threatening me he will call police and charge me for breaking the door, he even said to me he will FORCE TO PULL ME OUTSIDE the cab if I don't stop complaining. He even told me that's why he didn't get off  and help me to my grocery because if he did that HE WILL CHARGE ME EXTRA $15. So I told me him why he don't call a police or maybe yet more better if I'm the one who  will call a cops.

My own opinion is why there's a cab/taxi? To help people who wants to get to the place where they wanna go without any hassle, more earlier to their schedules, more easier and safer to those people who wants to get home. It's their job too to help their customers if needed. They should be more polite, cheerful, honest and they should know how to communicate to their customers. I know it busy every Friday night and it's ok if the cab comes late. But to tell me wait out side freezing cold and rainning, out side standing alone at the street waiting for 45 minutes. For being rude of the dispatcher and the driver anf for the the driver who threatening me kind like it was my fault! For the dispatcher's aliby why they can't inform me if the my cab has arrive (But it was says to their website that they have a computerize phone that they can use to call a customer and inform that he cab has been arrive) 

 

Now the time is 1:54am and I just check my temperature and it was 38.9 F (I had a fever because I get cold outside waiting for the cab).  I should make a complaint against this company a month ago aswell, regarding to their driver's who using their cellphone for texting and calling while they're driving. Me and my nephews took a cab from our family friend's house. When we get to the cab I saw the driver using his cellphone for texting and I told him if he didn't stop texting I'll call his company and make a complaint so yeah he stop texting but he use his cellphone to call. He got lost, he turned right to a wrong street because he was not paying attention and when we get to our street he missed our house. He didn't even back up the car and drop off us at the front of our instead he drop us of 5 house away from our house. He even forgot to turned on the meter, it's supposed to be NO CHARGE if the driver forgot to turned on the meter but he charge me for $ 10.00. I told to my cousin what happen and she told me that I have to make a complaint not to the company but rep;ort it to the police because of using cellphone while driving. Besides I'm with my 2 nephews that time I should report it the police for my nephews safety. But I said maybe I'll give it a chance again and what happen to me yesterday night was the worst. 

If lots of people complaining to this company, and this company not taking any actions. I know a lawyer and I know someone who can help me to the BC Human Rights Coalition and file a legal complaint to this company. I maybe not a popular person nor a person who came from a respective family or influencial family. But I know what's the right thing and wrong thing to do, and I chose to do the right and I'll find away and fight for it. So this kind of services or this kind of people will get what will they deserve.
