Initially we ordered a 2000 Ford F-150 4.6 liter Romeo engine from Your Engine and Transmission company on 3/22/17. We were told that we would receive it on the following Wednesday which would have been 3/29/17. After multiple phone calls and constantly getting the runaround beginning 3/30/17, we finally received the engine on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. As a result of the engine arriving so late the company waived the shipping fee of $160.

Once we received the engine, Jeff immediately inspected it and we called the company within the same hour of receiving it and informed them that it was the wrong engine. Also by this time we had had a chance to research the company online and found rip-off reports and bad reviews from other customers that had experienced shipping issues as we had as well as being shipped the wrong engines as we were experiencing also.

Once we informed the company that they had shipped us the wrong engine then they started to dodge our phone calls, constantly leave us on hold and just began to be rude all together toward us. I asked the company what we needed to do in order to return the engine and simply receive a refund and the first thing they did was email us an interchange list for the motor explaining that the motor that they had shipped us would fit our application. Once we received the interchange sheet, we noticed that it was specifying the wrong engine. When I informed them that they had sent me information pertaining to the wrong engine they said that that was the engine that we ordered and they requested the vin # for the truck we were to place the engine in and we complied immediately. However, the engine thet sent us is not the engine that we ordered because we specified that we needed a Romeo engine which is vin "W".

They said that they needed to investigate & listen to the phone call when we initially ordered the engine to let me know whether they would swap the engine out for a different one but that we would not be receiving a monetary refund. So I accepted that, and when I called back  the following day (4/6/17) to find out the status of returning the engine we would immediately be put on hold and left there indefinitely. They have yet to call me back or respond to my request for a monetary refund or an exchange. They just make you wait until you get frustrated & hope you give up!
