I received a call on 7/6/2012 from a man at yms stating that i had won a $500 visa gift card. My first instinct was that something was weird about it but like a dummy I just rolled it off as me just being paranoid. I know now to always trust my instincts. The man told me that I had to pay a handling fee of 2.95...i aksed the man several times if that was the only thing being charged to my card and he assured me that it was. I said ok and gave the man my information.

No sooner than when we hung up...something told me to check my account. When I checked it i saw that a charge of 24.89 had been charged to my account. I immediately went to my bank and had that card canceled. A frw days later i recieved a letter in the mail stating that i had to subscribed to all these different magazines...magazines that I dont even read mind you. The letter also told me that my card would br charged 24.89. I disregarded the letter because i had already canceled my card so i knew they wouldnt get a dime of my money.

A few days ago i received a letter from them stating that i was in violation of the agreement and that i needed to pay or my credit will be impacted. I immediately filed a complaint with the BBB because i refuse to pay for something i did not sign up for.

I received a phone call from a so called rep from there company today. The conversation was not a pretty one. She told me that they had a recording of me agreeing to the subscriltion. She played it but no where on the tape do you hear me agreeing to any sort of subscription...and she only played the tape from the part where i am giving my information until the end she never played it from the beginning, which i find very interesting because before i gave him my information i asked if the 2.95 was the only thing being charged to my card. I never heard that part on the recording she played back.

Once she seen that she couldnt get me to do what she wanted she hung up on me but...I called back. These people are nothing but scam artist trying to get people for their money...im not one of those people. Like I said I already filed a complaint with the BBB but i am seriously thinking about bring some sort of civil suit or seeing if some sort of criminal action can be brought against them.

And i never received the visa gift card!!
