I had applied to be a Myster Shopper a few months ago.  Last week I received an email from a Gary Ghazini stating that I had been accepted as a mystery shopper and would receive a packet in the mail by Wednesday October 29, 2014.  I received it on Saturday October 25, 2014.  This morning I received a text message from 202-697-6564 asking about the status of my packet.  I did not respond to the text and promptly got my mail to look at the packet.  When i opened the envelope, there was a piece of paper with instructions on it and a check for $2,345.00 from First Niagara bank.  The document instructed me to purchase 4 money pak cards and keep the rest of the funds.  It goes on to state that they want me to email all kinds of information to them along with the pin numbers of the money pak cards.  There are two email address, ctact.gary@gmail.com and ctact.gary@aol.com.  The paper states that Gary Ghazini is the coordinator, Survery Manager is Betty Moore.  The check is signed by a Chelsea Bartolomeo (unsure of spelling of last name), but the return address on the envelope that everything came in is from a John Henderson in Chicago Illinois.  I knew right away that this was a scam and have no intentions on doing anything with it except to destroy everything and burn it.  Has anyone reported this to the police?  Do you think I should?
