Cheetah1 express

madison Heights MI.

This company is a none paying company. If you agree on a rate per mile but it is not in the contract then they will lower that agreed rate. When it comes time for your pay out you will owe the coropate expenses and then because of not enough runs that week you will owe them money. This company will not put in agreement rate per mile you agree on because they already know what is going to happened. This company is turning and burning drivers and you will owe them when they bank rupt you. good luck expeditors

I have worked for Cheetah 1 Express for some time now. I am in charge of the hiring process, application process, termination process, and much more. I spoke to Mr Wagner personally for over a month getting his paper work in, reports in, etc... to make sure he was set to start running loads by a certain date, which we accomidated. Mr Wagner was given a much higher rate per mile than we normally pay. This was solely my fault. I mispoke during an email conversation and I quoted Mr. Wagner a specific rate, that my boss & owner of the company agreed to and I personally wrote this into his contract. (EX: typically pay $.38 per mile. Mr. Wagners mile rate=$.65 per mile.) He agreed and signed forms as well as a contract agreeing to weekly standard deductions, he agreed to his pay rate, I explained to him we work on Quickbooks & that it will take a good 3 weeks to generate a check. This is how it is no matter who you are. It took 4 weeks for my first check to generate, so I make sure this is explained to each new hire. Also, on 4 occassions that I can recall, Abbey, owner, explained to Mr Wagner that he was coming aboard with a cargo van which is not a typical vehicle we are known for so it takes a few weeks to get the word out and get him running back to back. The possibility he may sit for few hours empty was common  as dispatch got word out about the cargo van & got it up on the trucking boards, etc... it may be a little slow, but enjoy it, because once word was out, he would be running as much as he was asking for. Mr Wagner had no issue with it as he was going to need down time in a week due to his new bride cooming from Japan. And we were fully aware of this and still had no issue. The weekend he was hired, he was sent out on his first load. No issues, until he dropped the load and we did not have anything lined up IMMIDIATLY after. He did sit for a few hours empty. Eventually a  load was booked for Mr Wagner. He was contacted by someone in our office that he was booked for a load. During the exchange of information, Mr Wagner fills us in that he does not have standard corgo van dimensions. He had reduced his inside dims when he set up a permanant sleeping area. Now the load has to be cancelled, it will not fit! Now dispatch has a bigger issue! We all have to find odd sized loads (which are not very common) that Mr. Wagner can fit in his van. For Cheetah 1 Express we were up for the challenge. Mr Wagner on the other hand became very upset, defensive and rude. Like all of us, he recieved his first check stub outlining deductions, etc... Mr Wagner flew into an uproar. He called a few hours later, stated he was on his way back to our office. He deadheaded several states away back to our office. I went out to try to speak to him, he was rude, would not engage with me at all and when I asked where the stickers were that were placed on his van with our company logo, he cracked his window slightly and said "I ripped em off and threw them away." This to was explained to him that there is a charge if company equipment is lost, stollen, damaged, etc... He never came into the office to return anything or to even speak to us. We were hopeful to resolve the issue and strt fresh, but Mr Wagner did not want to be an adult and talk instead he got on the internet, made false claims & bashed our company yet never mentioned his behavior or give any proof or evidence of any kind to support his claims.

Mr Wagner had no reason to act in such a manner. Everything was explained to him in great detail over a months period prior to being hired. Mr Wagner owes Cheetah 1 Express money and instead of honesty we are flat out lied on, lied about and falsley accused of things. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH IT OR DONT UNDERSTAND IT!!!

I would hope that anyone who took the time to read Mr. Wagners rant on our company would do their own research on us. We are very reputable  and the only issuues we have endured thus far is 2 extremely hostile drivers that were impatient, verbally abusive and had a bully mentality that they could bash us because of their own personal behavior and anger issues.

I have worked for Cheetah 1 Express for some time now. I hold a degree in business as well as a Paralegal degree. I personally sit with each new potential hire. I explain all paper work that is asked to be completed as part of our hiring process as well as go over the contract with each driver, making sure they fully understand what they are signing and answer any qustions they may have. Mr. Wagner spent over a month going back n forth with me in regards to hiring process, pay dates, miles paid, dead head, etc... Then Mr. Wagner spent time on the phone with the owner of the company, Ms. A. Kizy, going over everything again. Ms Kizy reexplained everything to Mr. Wagner again and also made it a point to explain we were going to give him $XX per mile solely because I had mispoke in the initial emails regarding rate per mile. The rate I quoted was much higher than usualso we made sure we wrote that into the contract.

Mr. Wagner is an extremely impatient person. As we explain to ALL drivers coming to work for us, it takes a good solid 2 weeks at least to get word out that we have this new option we can run, In Mr Wagners case, he came aboard with a Cargo Van. Not a typical vehicle we have on our team, but one we were anticipating to be a great deecision on our part.

Upon completion of hiring process, registering vehicle, adding to ins, etc...We IMMEDIATELY sent Mr. Wagner out on his first load, per his request. The plan is to always keep the drivers moving. However, Mr Wagner modified his Cargo Van, causing dims to no longer fit standard measurments for loads specified for Cargo Van transit. Obviously, this makes it difficult to find loads for this vehicle type, but not impossible. By mid day of Mr Wagners 5th day with us and only 1/2 day sitting empty...Mr Wagner then decides to rip off our company logo from his van, trashes our company stickers and dead heads his way back to MI. Ms. Kizy contacts him to resolve issue but, Mr Wagner was upset that he had to sit, which is common practice for truck drivers and also because he could not grasp the concept of how payroll works, although the owner of the company, Ms. Kizy spent several hours, combined explaining how pay worrks, deductions, mileage, etc...

Our ompany contract is a legal binding contract that has been complimented on by several judges and magistrates we have gone before in other circumstances such as this one.

Here is the absolute truth and bottom line...Cheetah 1 Express is a reputable company. Our contracts and business practices are very much ethical and binding. If you do not know what you are signing...DONT sign it. If you do not agree with something make sure changes are done prior. Every person who has ever made such claim, took us to court, etc...has been very disappointed. Each case, Cheetah 1 Express was victorous.

There is still an outstanding balance that Mr Wagner owes our company, based on all documents he signed and procedures he had agreed to in order to be employed by us. Regardless of the dispute and the several nasty, disrespectful emails from Mr Wagner, Cheetah 1 Express has maintained its possition, we have NEVER not paid an employee and/or driver for services provided, we have NEVER cheated anyone or lied about our process, deductions, payroll, etc... and we will not allow anyone to slander our company. We would like to have the negative and flat out lie about our company to be removed.  With all due respects to the first amendment, the things that Mr Wagner has stated are false and could affect our company in a negative way. For every Mr Wagner out there with their unjust false claims bashing our company, I have a judgment in our favor proving we are not scams, we pay our drivers, our contracts are perfectly written and everything a driver signs for us is legal and BINDING.
