Cindy Heimenez Von Fenwald Kennels, Illinois Harassing and Threatening Phone Message to Elderly Woman for Not Buying Her Puppies Internet; Illinois; Luling/Lockhart, Texas

Clarissa R.E. Myers a Assistant Public Defender of DuPage Co, Illinois is the person who wrote the original Report.  She is the daughter of Barbara E.B. Myers a dentist who has been practicing at 6400-L Woodard Ave, Downers Grove, IL for approx. 20 years. 

Doctor Barbara as she insists she must be addressed, contacted me regarding the purchase of another German Shepherd.  Her previous Shepherd Logan (which she also adopted from me in Oct. 2002) recently passed away. 

Barbara wanted to fly to Austin, Tx from Chicago to come chose another pup or dog.

She stated that "Logan" was the absolute Best dog she's ever owned and she didn't want to go anywhere else. 

I spent hours and hours on the phone with her regarding what was available, their personalities, possible flight times, etc.  She decided she wanted to come Sunday morning arriving at 11:15 a.m. and would leave Monday evening around 5:30 p.m.

I graciously offered to pick her up at the airport and chauffeur her about for the 2 days.

She would chose a pup or dog, I would take her to get the crate, then drive her & the pup a half hour away to the vet for the health certificate.  I would then transport her and the dog back to the airport on Monday evening.  I even made plans to take her to the best BBQ place in Texas (the Salt Lick) about an hour away. 

I checked into the local motels, booked the vet appointment, had my employee cancel his weekend plans so that he could work while I was with Barbara.  I located a crate & purchased it for her.  Had my car cleaned.  She had booked her tickets...all set to come.

On Saturday night Barbara left a brief message stating simply she found a pup locally and so she wouldn't be coming. 

No apologies for wasting my time, No thank you, No anything!  I had literally bent over backwards to accommodate her.  I had spent hours on the phone with her, etc.  She did not even have the decency to apologize for wasting my time. 

Yes, I did call Barbara after I got her short message.  I called to speak to her.
She didn't even have the decency to pick up the cell phone which she says she always has by her.  Yes, I was absolutely upset, and Rightly So. 

Oh yes, I used a Harsh 4 letter word... I called her RUDE for wasting my time for 3 days.  I never threatened her or harassed her.  They are full of boloney.

I didn't care if she didn't buy a pup from me again.  The more I had heard of how and why Logan had died after she had already booked the flights, the more uncomfortable I felt.

Barbara had also kept saying she could sleep at my house instead of the motel.  When I told her that half of my house was in the middle of reconstruction and the 3 guest rooms & 3 guest baths were in the process of having new flooring installed she said she could sleep on my couch.  I really thought that was odd.

How did Logan Die?
Doctor Barbara states that she noticed that all of a sudden his stomach appeared extremely distended.  She chalked it off to him just getting fat.  It continued to get larger for over a week. 

Finally, she decided to go to the Vet when he was extremely ill.  Naturally, it was too late and he passed away.  Had Doctor Barbara actually been a DOCTOR she would have realized that there was a serious problem.

One would like to think that Barbara was just very busy and therefore wasn't able to get her dog to a Veterinarian in time to save his life.  That's not the case however. By her own admission, her Practice is failing and is down to being open only 2 days a week.  Her husband passed away, and her daughter is off running her mouth as an Asst. Public Defender so she has tons of free time.

I just don't understand how someone could just ignore such an obvious sign that your dog is ill.  Very Sad indeed.  Her negligence cost the dog his life!

The daughter would like you to believe that her mother is elderly.  Another pathetic attempt at stretching the truth.  Her mother Barbara may have premature gray hair...but that's simply because she's too lazy to color it.  Barbara was planning on driving across the country to Florida to visit friends next month.  She's No Frail Old Lady!  She's just rude.  I contacted all the local police departments and no report was filed.  I explained the situations to the police they laughed...I'm 1500 miles away from them.  Another tall tale from a Clarissa Myers.
