A check was sent to that company listing me as the custodial parent and my case number to be paid the arrearage of child support owed to me. They cashed the check and told me I was not a client of theirs and therefore did not pay me my money but supposedly paid a client (s) of theirs with my money. They refuse to pay the money to me. The people there were very hostile with me when I did finally speak with a person. This has been since December 2011.

This sounds like your baby's daddy also has other children out there, and when money was sent to this outfit naming you as the rightful recieptant of the money, some other woman (who was a client of this company), also had a child by this same man, so they gave the money to her instead
This company is a collection agency for child support, and I bet when they called your baby's daddy to collect he though they were trying to collect for you, that is why he gave your name. He just assumed it was you.
Your baby's daddy still owes you money, but he prob owes some other women money too.
