To begin with, Giant Discount Appliances has ALWAYS offered a warranty on all its appliances whether they are Scratch & Dent or New. The majority of the appliances come with a standard 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty. The rest of the appliances come with out standard 6 month warranty provided by Giant Discount Appliances. So "OJ" is not telling you the full truth. As the only FULLY authorized scratch and dent dealer in Central Texas, Giant takes great pride in putting the customer first.

For anyone reading the claims or this rebuttal, I humbly suggest you simply stop by any one of the stores, and get a hands on feel from any of the salesmen or the managers. If you ever feel pressured to buy anything at our store, then we are not doing our job. I promise you, the staff members are kind, friendly, and put your interest before anyone else. They will NOT try to upsell you (no one works on commission at Giant Discount Appliances). The products sell themselves, and the salesmen are there just to help make your decision making process easier. Our stores are clean, and our people are friendly.

With over 4,000 customers in the last 1 1/2 years, this is not to say we are always perfect. However, we are a firm believer in locating the problem and quickly resolving them. We will not argue or fight with customers. We are a member of the Better Business Bureau and are in good standing. Yes, it's true that we have a "no refunds" policy, but this is standard as is the nature of any scratch & dent business. However, we do have a lenient exchange policy. None of this is secret as all this information is clearly listed on every one of our sales receipts and with signange throughout the store.
