Gibson Trust should be ashamed to carry the word trust in their title. Ripped me off, is enough that I'm calling them because I'm in debt but they have to go and make it worse. I have a lien on my property because I could not catch up on the payments.
The whole personnel should go to jail and the whole staff should be sued for participating in such a horrible scheme. I've called many times to fight for my money and they have just disregard me, as well as my roomate that is in the same whole that I'm in. I hope they get what they deserve for being such cheats.

Dear Ruth,
I am a former employee of Gibson Trust. I was shocked and eventually quit when I discovered what they were actually doing with the funds. It's a complete shame. For what it's worth, the "Credit Counselors" didn't actually know what was going on until it was too late. At which point, many of us left the company.
Chances are you will NEVER get your money back. For the most part, laws in this country are designed to protect the wealthy. Typically, people who have to consolidate their debt aren't wealthy. Therefore, the law isn't interested in protecting you or your interests. President Bush or any other president for that matter would NEVER look at this issue. There are many more pressing issues to deal with.
Also, and I feel bad about saying this....your last post was littered with grammatical errors. It makes you look unintelligent in the eyes of the readers. Perhaps you could cut and paste your next post into MS Word and do a spell check. Just a thought.

Update on Bankruptcy Filings for Goldstar and Gibson Trust
AUTHOR: Elizabeth - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, June 02, 2004
I just wanted to let everyone know that I did file claims with the bankruptcy courts against Gibson and Goldstar and it looks like the Trustee found proof that at least Goldstar laundered some of our money to employees personal accounts (some $40,000), but apparently they owe the IRS much more than they "supposedly" have, so all of my efforts were in vain.
Don't ever expect to get anything back from them, just learn from this experience and move on. If you believe in carma, you know they will get what's coming to them some day!

I don't understand what has happened on how this can continue on with these people ripping people off. There was suppost to be a law suite filed with Flordia state att. generals office I know in 2003 if not before. And this is 2004 and there still at it. How and why.We the people of the united states of america are not being treated fairly if this is still going on. It's unfair Justice to us as hard working or struggling to make things meat. And yet there are more people taken in by there scam after being reported to the higher up people. On new's stations. And the same address isn't someone getting the message here..These people need to be stoped Now.And we the people they took from should be given a amount that should cover all the agoney we have been through..What is our next move the president of the united states for help on this situation I don't know. You would think with all the complaints that something would be done..Except our creditors down our backs. And people losing everything they had worked for. This is unfair to us.Someone please get something resolved here. What if it were them hum wounder if they would put up with it this long......HELP Flordia Att.Generals Office we are getting undue justice and no answers and there getting away scott free. What more do you need. There are continuios reports about them and nothing seem's to be getting done..
