GTL IS THE BIGGEST RIPOFF IN THE WORLD.THEY DOUBLE YOU AND THEN ACT LIKE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT WHEN YOU CALL TO GET SOME ANSWER'S.SOMETHING NEED'S TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS SO CALL PHONE COMPANY.

I do understand what you're going through. I'm billed through my local phone company and an now blocked after just 5 calls because they set my up with a ridiculous spending limit. They are supposed to be "reseaching" it as I had a previous telephone number and had a much larger limit. I didn't hear anything from them today and I did call, but there wasn't anything new in the account notes. It is an awful feeling to be cut off from your loved ones, especially at the holidays. I've been cut off since November 4th as that was my last call.
I feel like they're trying to force me into setting up an account directly with them. That is something I will never do because I have done some research and there are a lot of complaints out there about double billing. I don't trust CBS to begin with, so I surely don't want an account where the charges and records of the charges are solely in their hands. What compounds this situation even more is that we can't just change companies.
Ask for their fax number and fax your concerns in writing. Keep your fax confirmation number and follow-up by phone. I would call after 48 business hours and they say it takes 24-48 hours for a response. It is best to keep records of your faxes or e-mails (I think it is better to e-mail than to call because at least you have a record). If you do call ask who your are speaking to and their extension number(although I did ask for someone's extension number at the beginning of the call today and they refused to provide it). Please come back and update your report to let us know if they've resolved the double billing issue. If you keep running into this issue and they won't fix it in a timely manner or not at all, at least you have a record out here and someone may end up contacting you from this site. The best of luck to you! Don't let it get you down. I was discouraged in the beginning, but now I feel empowered and have a lot of good ideas to "fix" these issues.

SORRY ABOUT THE FIRST REPORT I AM SO UPSET WITH THIS PHONE COMPANY.THEY JUST KEEP DOUBLE BILLING EVERYONE.NOTHING NO ONE CAN DO ABOUT IT,IF WE WANT TO TALK TO OUR LOVE ONE'S IN THE GA.PRISON'S.
