Today I received an email from HOTWIRE at 5:44 advertising compact rental cars in Sarasota florida (SRQ). Went to reserve the car immediately. Best price I could get was $24.95. Called and chatted. Got the same run around story...someone else got that deal, but Hotwire has the BEST prices...

I don't consider getting an email and replying within minutes and "missing the deal" a legitimate offer. I think its FALSE advertising or a "bait and switch" scam. Not going to do business with HOTWIRE
