If Louise Bushinger would be honest on these posts, she would tell you that I always asked people to give what God asked them to give.  I NEVER told people to give me $100 and I would pray for them or if they gave $100 they would get $1,000s in return.

The Bible teaches that if you give, God will give back to you some 30/60/100fold.  The person giving must give with a clear conscience and with joy, what they purpose in their heart...

If I was such a con artist, while I was in South Dakota, at House of Fire Sanctuary, why did I have to close the doors because people's tithes didn't keep the doors open?  Rent was $2,500/month, tithes were less than $300 per week by local congregants.  Do the math.

Sherrie Walton and other disability representatives don't get paid until the disabled party receives backpay.  It's a percentage of what is recovered.  CREDIT CARDS ARE NEVER USED IN ANY TRANSACTIONS...   So again, STOP LYING...

The Federal Cyberstalking Law On January 5, 2006, President Bush signed Section 113 of the Violence Against Women Act into law. I personally know Sherrie Walton and have known her for over 20 years. I have worked with her, prayed with her and gone to church with her for years on end. This report was nothing more then an ex husband who always expected his wife to forgive him for what ever he did. He has a history of being violent to his wife, many times lying to her, and the 2 things that drove her to a divorce were that he was lazy and would NEVER keep a job, even to the point of cutting his thumb partially off on a table saw so he didn't have to work and leaving her with no health insurance and a transplant recipient who had to set out jars in stores to try and get enough money to pay for transplant drugs!!! How hideous is that??? The second...she found her husbands p***s on an adult website. She actually emailed the site to me and many other church members to prove she wasn't fabricating anything. She found his sign in information and emailed it to all of us and told us to not be ashamed of her for sending us to this site of porn, but it was Rick (her ex husband) on that site. We asked her how she knew it was him and she told us to look at the bathroom decor, and sure enough it was hers.
This poor woman was abused mentally and USED for the length of this marriage by this man and he should be in jail in my opinion for all he's done to her and is STILL trying to do to her. He aimed a shotgun at her point blank! GET OVER IT RICK! You married Valerie 2 weeks after your divorce was final...leave Sherrie alone! I've been to his church and it is a Holy Spirit filled church where God is indeed present and alive. They have services in a motel conference room because you don't waste God's money on big buildings until you have a big congregation. She is a Christian Counselor...something I could recommend YOU get Rick! She has counseled myself and other church members for years...She paid for and earned every bit of her learning and degree's. At the beginning of the road
Lately, I have been looking into the mirror a lot. I have been checking to see if my dunce cap is straight. I also turn around to see how much of my derrire is still left after being taken in by the Reverend Thomas Crain and his Zephyr Marketing. There are a lot of us doing that in Ely. Rev. Crain was a master of salesmanship. He always had a bright positive air about him. Even now there are employees who have not been paid who still wish to support him. One wonders if we as a community should change our attitudes towards new business and outsiders?
I have always admired people who start new businesses. I have started several myself and know how hard it is. The fact is over 90% of all businesses fail in the first two years. That is not a good success rate. It is amazing anyone is foolish enough to try, yet it is the secret of our country's prosperity. Even with 90% failing, the other 10% manages to create wealth, jobs and security. My openness to someone who wants to start a business in Ely is the secret to my success in the leasing business, but it is, also, my weakness. It allows someone to come in and fail. It allows someone to leave me with bad checks. Whenever a business fails in Ely everyone talks about it. When one fails because of dishonesty and fraud it really gets talked about. It even rated a five minute TV report on KMSP in Minneapolis.

Steer Clear of this crook!

In a way I feel sorry for the Rev. Crain. Even though he owes me over $3,000 I liked his can-do attitude. I liked the fact that he wanted to create jobs and help our community. The ironic thing is that if he used his talents honestly he probably would be a success. Now he has to deal with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office, the Postal Inspector's Fraud Department in Minneapolis and eventually the IRS. His life is going to be very complex.

I found it odd last summer when Crain told me he did not have any friends in Minneapolis. Now I know why. He cannot afford to stay in one place for any length of time. That is the price of always using other people's money and possessions. What I have learned of Rev. Crain is that he has a long trail of unpaid bills.
I have seen people like this before. They outwardly act as sincere and honest people. Inwardly, they plot for every advantage they can get. Some call this the Clinton disease. President Clinton still does not understand the moral wrong he did with Monica. Just the other day Clinton stated that beating impeachment was one of his administra-tion's greatest accomplishments. I find that hard to understand. Where is the shame?

I feel sorry for all those who have been taken advantage of by Crain. I felt sorry to the small copier business in Minneapolis that leased Zephyr a copier and has not seen a payment in six months. They were very surprised to find their copier is now 240 miles away.

I feel sorry for the honest employees who were duped by Crain with his promises of high pay and big bonuses. A year from now it will be a faded memory, at least for those of us who are honest. We will move on. For Rev. Crain, it will probably be business as usual. He will move to another town, maybe another state and continue to do what he does best cheat people. What a pathetic life. He can never put down roots, never own a home, never know when someone will recognize him from the past, never have any long term friends.
Finally, I feel sorry for those that try to start a new business, because folks like Rev. Crain give entrepreneurs a bad name. Most people are basically honest. They may drive over the speed limit on the freeway or do some other small infraction that does not harm anyone.
Then there are the Rev. Crains who take advantage of human nature and our liberal laws on bad checks. They play the system like a harp from hell and can go for years without paying the piper. They know that it takes a mountain of evidence before any state attorney general's office actually takes legal action. I just find the price of no roots, no friends, and no family life, a life not worth living. There are many forms of wealth and Rev. Crain will find they cannot be bought with dirty money and bad checks.
I urge anyone who has been wronged by Rev. Crain, to complain loudly to the Attorney General's office. Write to: Mr. Don Donahugh, MN Attorney General Office, 102 State Capital, St. Paul, MN 55155. A call to the Department of Revenue would be a good idea. While you are at it, report him ...???????

If you know who Robert Tilton is, you will know what a Prosperity Gospel Scam is. It made him millions of dollars --tax-free- by licensing himself as a church and getting a license to preach and conning his followers to pay him as much money as possible -- "to give until it hurts!" " No Pain, No Gain!"

The Prosperity Gospel is a con game generally run in charismatic Christian or non-denominational churches which have a tax-exemption but to keep it, they have to have regularily scheduled worship services at a "church."

The typical Prosperity Gospel preacher really worships money and some of the folks who attend do too.

The scam is that the preacher promises if you give as MUCH MONEY TO HIM/HER THAT YOU CAN, GOD WILL BLESS ALL OF YOUR ENDEAVORS AND YOU WILL SUCCEED IN EVERYTHING YOU TRY TO DO ( Also known as the SUCCESS GOSPEL.)

And for every $100 you give, you will get $1,000 back or some other unrealistic sum --which, of couse,you never do and by the time you have no money to give and realize that you have been RIPPED OFF, you are disfellowshipped ( you can be accused of being a witch or being possessed with demons, etc.) and all of the love and fellowship you experienced there turns out to be FAKE just like the miracles you were promised tht never happened and all the money you gave --- disappeared into the pockets of the preacher.

You don't need to rip off people's social security incomes, you can o very nicely ripping off everybody!
