For the client above to pronounce our company and service as fraud is defamatory.   He provided us signed authorization to charge his credit card for services, and acknowledged and agreed to the particulars of the service.  Further, he was informed via phone and email, how both SEO and PPC work.  He was also provided weekly reports throughout the short time frame we ran his campaign. 

Ultimately the results his company experienced is due to the limitations he imposed on his own campaign.

First off, he was a client for a mere 1 ½ months. 

The nature of SEO requires a commitment of 3 to 6 months in order for efforts to be recognized by the Search engines, and indexed as relevant search results.  This fact was explained to the client on numerous occasions.

Our policy is whitehat, legitimate methods to build relevancy and quality results.  The client’s impatience with legitimate methods is indicative he hoped we would game the system.  It should be noted, that by doing so, will impact any SEO efforts negatively and blacklist your business site from Search Engines completely.  Which again, was explained to the client.

Regarding his PPC campaign, the client authorized a 600/month spend, which equates to $20/day.   In this case, PPC results will be limited due to the budget.  He was informed of this budget limitation but still authorized us to go ahead. 

We provided all keywords with a thorough analysis of the estimated cost and their competitiveness.  Each step was authorized by the client before going live.  Reports were provided, and also available on his analytics account.  His campaign was fully transparent, and evidence of work completed was always provided. 

Yet, even with the low daily spend, we still were able to achieve incredible traffic results considering the limitation.  Unfortunately, the client was unable to convert the prospects through is website, and therefore blamed our service as the cause.

It’s obvious the client expected overnight results, and failed to realize his own lack of commitment to marketing.  His need to place blame unfortunately falls on our shoulders.  However I find it unduly for him to defame our company and threaten legal action, when he did not allow the SEO to mature, and limited his own PPC efforts.
