Seamus McCaffery The World's Most Crooked Judge Harrisburg Pennsylvania

After doing some research, I do not now believe that Seamus McCaffery is the world's most corrupt judge. I do not even believe that he is Pennsylvania's most corrupt judge. That honor goes to Mark Ciavarella, who extorted bribes from private prisons in return for falsely convicting and excessively sentencing hundreds of innocent children to long terms in said facilities. Based on my interpretation of state and federal laws, McCaffery is a felon based on his admissions contained in public records. However, he is not in a league with Ciavarella, who destroyed untold hundreds of young lives by sending them to jail for "crimes" like classroom flatulence; defiantly trespassing in an empty, dilapidated building; and mocking a principal on Myspace. Also, in fairness to McCaffery, he was not completely evil. His rulings in criminal cases were often ultra-conservative when there was no question that defendants or convicts were guilty. In fact, it is possible that McCaffery is no more corrupt than most Pennsylvania judges. His alleged criminal wrongdoing merely got publicized, apparently because his expected political protection has eroded.
