I ordered a postal battery exam study guide a few weeks ago in response to an ad in our local paper. I looked at the web-site to see if any positisions were open in my area, and there weren't any. I tried getting on the web-site today, and it can't be accessed.

I found a report that said it was a scam. I called my post office to see if they charged for the study guide, and sure enough, they don't.

The best part is when you order the material they tell you that you can get a full refund. But what they don't tell you until after you receiver the study materials is that you have to either have failed an exam, worked 1 week after getting a job, get an interview and not get the job, or my absolute favorite, not have a postal exam within 100 MILES!

I tried to get a refund because I didnt have any exams in my area, but then they pointed out that I did not qualify for the refund because there was an exam 89 MILES FROM MY HOUSE! I REPEAT 89 MILES!

STILL A SCAM!!!!

In response to the US Alliance employee, its still a scam. The book with practice tests can be purchased at a book store for 24.99, practice tests and all. Another thing you failed to mention is that a person needs to score just 70 to be in the running, well they will be running for the rest of their lives at that score. The US Postal Service has millions of people that want to work for them and to stand out and actually get the job, you must score at least 90 to even get an interview. I took the test several years ago during a downsizing at my company, and scored a 90 and I studied my butt off, but by the time they called me I had already accepted another suitable poisition. So stop trying to rip innocent people off!!
