I'm with Linda...Proof please!

AUTHOR: Melissa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 07, 2003

Peter,

I have to say that is a very strong implication you made. As a battered Dodge Truck owner, I would be extremely interested in any proof you have, as I am sure every lawyer and or media channel would as well.

I have been fighting Daimler-Chrysler for over a year now and would hate to think that another consumer out there had the key to everyones problems, but is withholding information. Many could consider it as underhanded as the company many of us are fighting, couldn't it?

If you've got it, flaunt it big guy!

WHERE IS YOUR PROOF? ..an individual dealership might operate in an underhanded matter

AUTHOR: Linda - (U.S.A.)

Peter, to make such a blanket statement about Chrysler autos, you must have a wealth of proof from inside the company. I, for one, would like to see this proof before you are to be believed. I can believe that an individual dealership might operate in an underhanded matter without concrete proof, but an entire manufacturer is another question. So, where is your proof....documents, statements from the CEO, directives to dealerships, manufacturing, etc.?

Color Me Surprised! ..Chryslers have brake problems as well as a slew of other problems.

AUTHOR: Peter Pony - (U.S.A.)

Yes, Chryslers have brake problems, as well as a slew of other problems. In fact, they are some of the worst cars on the road today. Take my advice -- get rid of the old beater and buy a quality car, such as Kia or Suzuki. Only a true import vehicle can attain the high standard of quality deserved by quality drivers who do not wish to be swindled by high repair costs. Chrysler is one of the car companies out there that purposely makes their cars in such a way that something will break every few miles. They have agreements with auto repair shops, and get a kick-back every time one of those defects is repaired. That is why their cars keep getting progressively worse and worse. The more things break, the more you will pay to get them fixed, and the bigger commission Chrysler will get. Like I said - buy a Kia. Case closed!
