I ordered a "free sample" with a shipping charge of $4.99. Then later a charge of over$34 was put on my account. I sent a message to them asking what the charge was for. The reply was that the "trial period" was over. There was nothing in the offer of the free chocolate of a "trial period". I sent another reply to this effect, but haven't heard anything back yet.

If you actually read the box that you check when you're accepting the terms, it states that by accepting the sample you are agreeing to a monthly charge of $34.99. If you emailed the company they responded with something saying due to security concerns you need to call their 855 number. When you call their number and tell them you want to cancel, they will offer you a couple of things to stay, but they're not pushy and its an easy 75 second phone call to make. Simple solution is to call as soon as you receive your trial package in the mail. Its not that hard and they're legit and not scamming anyone. They actually have another offer if you google them and say free sample, which is $4.95 with no commitment. I don't understand why people are bashing companies (especially small startup companies) because they can't read disclosures. It really does hurt small businesses when people do things like this. Its not Her$hey's folks!
