Not sure if this has any relation to the Encino Tammy Adams, but this comment is in response to another comment about House of Angels.

Be very wary of this business. Tammy appears to show concern for the client and has some spot-on information depending on where you are in your life. Unfortunately, I had sessions with her and I always felt something was always off. Follow your gut, but lessons must always be learned and we just do not see them immediately. 

If you do choose to see her for whatever reason you feel compelled, just be aware of the high prices she begins to charge after 1 or 2 sessions in, such as for crystals (some guy named Michael in Brazil), oils, or meditations that have to be scheduled as if there is no tomorrow; no itemization is ever given nor any explanation about any validiity of the materials. One can argue "have faith." I argue, follow your own gut. If you feel very lost, take some time out until you're more sure of how you feel. She's not as rude as the typical psychic gypsy scammers but she's very subtle from what I remember. Her professional manner varies like her punctuality, length of the session, her attention span, or her changes in "predictions." She's good at her game then again, she has been practicing for over 20+ years. Note also, the "publicity" she has - they're all free media outlets; anyone can create a radio or internet show. She has defended them as "donated time." Also if you're keen enough to notice, but she definitely has many gypsy ties. Numerous clients have lost plenty of money on Tammy's empty predictions (which she'll mostly blame on your lack of not following her super exact instructions. Yet, I do believe stuff circumstances need to fall into a certain way). 

Don't crutch on her assistant Sara for help either; she is always kept in the dark (odd for personal secretary who was also a client). Question also Tammy's non-profit "foundation."

Bear in mind, every choice you choose to make is solely at your discretion and what you are seeking at that particular moment in your life. 

I don't believe she is the same woman, though I would be very suspicous of her. She looks like a Romney gypsy. Looking at her site, the claims she makes and tools she uses are typical of the gypsy trade. You can bet her work will be an expensive proposition and will require un-ending cleansings and "work" to meet your goals. I would say you are very likely to get scammed by this individual. Expect empty promises, misery and loss of money if you go down this path.

An open letter to lawyers who have clients involved with sociopaths

Dear Mr. or Ms. Esquire,

When a client tells you his or her opponent is a sociopath, please be aware of the ramifications for your legal case. 

First of all, do not disregard the statement just because the opponent hasnt killed anyone. A common perception is that sociopaths are all deranged serial killers. This is not trueonly a small percentage of sociopaths commit murder. But all sociopaths are social predators, and live by exploiting others.

Frequently this is financial exploitationmany sociopaths are skilled con artistsbut not always. Sociopaths also target people who can provide them with a place to live, business connections, sex, housekeeping or other support services, children, or a respectable image in the community while they live double lives.  The point is that sociopaths intentionally use manipulation and deceit to hook their target. They by continuing the manipulation and deceit to keep the exploitation going, bleeding the target until there is nothing left. At that point, some sociopaths abandon the target, moving on without a backward glance.

Sometimes, however, the target gets wise to the sociopath, and wants to end the involvement. At this point, some sociopaths become enraged at the possibility of losing control, and set out to crush the target. They are not interested in compromise or equitable distribution. They do not want to give the target whatever he or she is entitled to. They want to grind the target into the dirt.

What you need to understand about sociopaths

1. A sociopaths prime objective ispower and control. All they want is to win.

2. Sociopaths love the drama of court because it gives them an opportunity to win. They do not consider the possibility that they may lose. If they do lose, they view it a bump in the road, and figure out how to attack the target again. Forcing the target to incur steadily mounting legal expenses is considered a win.

3. Sociopaths lie. They lie convincingly. They have no qualms about lying in court documents or on the witness stand.

4. Sociopaths manipulate other people to lie for them. These witnesses may not know they are lyingthey may simply believe everything that the sociopath has told them, because sociopaths are so convincing.

5. Sociopaths feel no obligation to follow court orders or the law. They only follow court orders or the law if they perceive an advantage in doing so. But they are experts at figuring out ways to use the law to further their objective, which is to crush your client.

How people become targets

Most of us believe that people are basically good inside and everybody just wants to be loved. Because we do not know that there are exceptions to these beliefsnamely, sociopathswe have huge blind spots that these predators can exploit.

No normal person intentionally becomes involved with a lying, manipulative sociopath. So when your client tells you outrageous stories of the sociopaths behavior, and also says he or she never knew about the behavior, or accepted the sociopaths explanations, your client is most likely telling the truth.

How do these entanglements happen? Sociopaths are always on the lookout for people they can use. When they encounter someone through any social interaction, they quickly evaluate whether that person has something that they want. If the by Text-Enhance">answer is yes, they assess the person for vulnerabilities. Then they figure out how to exploit the persons vulnerabilities to achieve their objective.

Sociopaths engage in calculated seduction. If youre handling a divorce case, the seduction was romantic. If its some other type of case, the seduction may have involved shared beliefs, aspirations or goals. Either way, in the beginning of the involvement the target is subject to a wonderful honeymoon of admiration and promise.

Once the target is hooked, the sociopath begins the exploitation, while simultaneously ramping up manipulation to keep the target under control. This may involve: Isolating the target from his or her support networkEmotional, psychological, verbal, physical, sexual or financial abuseGaslightingmaking the target doubt his or her own perceptions

What you need to understand about the target

1. Involvement with a sociopath is like living in a black hole of chaos. Your client, the target, has probably had every aspect of his or her life disrupted:
Career interrupted
Finances ruined
Health compromised
Home and property neglected
Relationships shattered

By the time the legal action commenced, your client may have already been in free fall for a long time. He or she may feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of the issues that need to be addressed.

2. Involvement with a sociopath can cause post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). At one time PTSD was diagnosed only in relation to a single traumatic event that involved risk of serious injury or death, coupled with intense fear, horror or helplessness. A new definition identifies a type of PTSD that results from cumulative trauma and long-term injury.

3. PTSD is a psychiatric injury (not a mental illness). PTSD causes biochemical changes in the brain and affects certain areas of the brains anatomy. Common symptoms include intrusive thoughts, nightmares, flashbacks, difficulty concentrating and exhaustion.

4. The litigation against the sociopath makes your client re-experience the underlying trauma and triggers the symptoms of PTSD.

Dr. Karin Huffer, in her book Unlocking Justice, explains what happens:

Mentally reliving the trauma during legal proceedings simultaneously activates parts of the brain that support intense emotions while diminishing the functions of the central nervous system that controls motor output, regulates physiological arousal, and impedes the ability to communicate in words. Memory fails and intrusive emotions sabotage concentration on the task at hand. Litigants feel incapable of the spontaneous verbal response and interaction required in typical courtroom exchanges. As a result, the litigant with PTSD might be driven to avoid topics. They literally do not hear them. They disconnect when they need to engage. And, at times, they clearly are nonfunctional and are unable to communicate their symptoms and needs in a formal manner accepted by the courts.

5. Targets of sociopaths have been deceived, betrayed and perhaps subject to violence. They approach the courts expecting justice, which sociopaths actively thwart. When justice is denied, and targets instead experience profound and prolonged injustice, their PTSD takes on another dimension, which Huffer identifies as Legal Abuse Syndrome.

Your clients experience The goal of this letter, Mr. or Ms. Esquire, is to help you understand what your client has experienced. My objective is to explain why he or she may be having difficulties with the litigation process, and difficulties moving on in life. The sociopath intentionally used your clientperhaps for yearsand may be intentionally attempting to destroy him or her now.

Your client is not irrational, lazy or obstinate. Your client is having a normal reaction to profound betrayal.

I understand what you're saying. The study of sociopaths is interesting and it's amazing how they operate and

are able to gain control and manipulate the human mind. Whether it's Jimmy Jones controlling the minds of over 900 people and getting them to commit mass suicide or a gold digger taking a widow for everything they own. This woman scammed you, but only because you actually believe in psychics. Someone has $76K to give to her? How about you give me that money and I give you common sense advice for your life that will help you much more than this woman? Thanks so much for your reply. You may have misunderstood our situation from what I wrote. We did turn these people into the police. At the time we did not even know who they were because they use aliases. You must know that this incident with my mother happened in 1990.  I have been investigating this family for over 20 years and of course by the time I found out who they were, any statues of limitations expired years ago. Believe me, if it was just the case of my mother having come froward to stop this crime, they would have been out of business years ago. There was a police report and the police pretty much told us there was nothing they could do.

I would love to somehow talk to you but this forum prohibits exchange of email addresses. Trust me, If the technology of today (internet) had existed back then, this biatch would have gone to jail. They simply vanished into thin air. Without internet, tracking people who you don't know their real identity was near impossible. I realize that due to embarrassment a lot of people dopn't report this crime. That was not us. This was too serious of a crime to have just let go unreported. Thanks for your time. The woman I met called herself "Kalani Campbell" and she said she worked with her sister "Tammy Adams." She was heavy set, with a coffee complexion and dark hair. She lived at 4866 Haskell Ave. in Encino California. She carried a small dog and I'd recognize her voice anywhere. The phone numbers she used were 818.332.1398, 707.236.4104, 818.219.5670, 818.219.9253, 818.216.0050, 818.633.3046, 818.731.6097 and 818.267.4516. She used MoneyGram, Western Union, Money Orders, Chase Bank transfers and CVS money cards to get money from victims. Chase Personal Checking account numbers used for transfers were 880753082 belonging to "Tammy Adams" and 873283972 belonging to "Michelle Ross." She had children: an older boy who is college age or older and another who is likely in high school. Her parents had died recently and I have a pic of who she said was her father attached to this post. She constantly complained about everything in her life from her eyes and  blood pressure and said everyone was after her for money that she borrowed in my behalf. She claimed to have been recently divorced from her husband who had an affair with her sister.

If your mother ever wants to free herself and stop being a victim she simply needs to report this woman to the FTC, FBI and police. She needs to get over the fear that she will be publicly humiliated. Her name will not get out. Please have her file a report. Contact the FTC at 877.382.4357 with details. I need you to call the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection now and file your report with them. They have her in their system. It's incredibly easy- there's nothing to it. If they get enough complaints they can go after her and the people she works with. Also call western union or moneygram if you paid by money transfer and file a report.
