This company is a scam. I used the software for 3 months and then it stopped working. It would just stop and disappear in the middle of a scan and had not been scanning daily since the first week. Their remote server went on my computer and said I needed to download Service Pack 3 and it would work. She also tried to sell me a program for $199 to make the $49 software I bought from them work.

I downloaded the service pack 3 and it didn't help. I called back and they went on my computer and uninstalled the entire cyberdefender software and disconnected. I called back and they said unless I paid the $199 for the "free unlimited support" there was nothing they could do. They then refused to take calls and or chats.

On top of the crappy software, their service people speak no english and told me I had too many programs on my computer. They told me the reason the software didn't work was because I have a lot of viruses. I got the viruses while using their software.

Why when after purchasing their antivirus software and finding that it doesn't work, would I pay them 199.00 to "fix" my computer. They are a piece of work.
