Do not EVER sign up to do business with Pipeline Data Processing, Charge.com or any other "subsidiary" of this company. They are only interested in taking YOUR money, not helping you process payments from your customers.
After having a merchant account with them for two years, with fewer than three total transactions in that same period, I cancelled my account. (Makes sense right? They charge me $50 plus per month, for absolutely nothing, plus numerous "other" fees that are "mandatory" and not previously mentioned in any information you receive from them when you research their service.) The really odd thing is that I've heard from this company more times in the last month since I've been trying to cancel my account than I ever heard from them during the time I actually had my account.

They also seem to come up with "fees" that seem to appear out of nowhere. I think they are trying to recoup the charges they won't be able to deduct from my bank this year all at once calling the charge "early termination fee". That fee will be charged to you if you EVER cancel your account.

Also, they quickly raise the monthly fee after you sign up at a lower rate. Read all the fine print terms because it basically allows them to charge you whatever they want to charge and you can't do a darned thing about it because it automatically gets deducted from you bank account.

Definitely use a more reputable merchant account service or Paypal (which at least tells you what they are charging up front).
