First Link Benefits another ripoff credit card scam has been located by my family Champlain New York

I recently got scammed by Fundamental Consumer Solutions. My wife was contacted by First Link Benefits on Jan. 2nd for a Gateway Mastercard with a credit limit of $2500.My wife was the suspicious one that found out FCS was a scam through your report. She asked Terry Mosely numerous times if this was a legit operation due to our recent situation. She wrote the primary information on the check that she provided our bank information from.

On Jan 27th we received the "credit card". It was a plastic packet with a bunch of useless papers. The computer she was promised was an advertisement booklet for a Gateway computer that was supposed to be free, we would have to pay at least $860.40. The "credit card" was a form that had to be filled out and returned for another processing fee of $39.95.

After receiving the card you may then place a maximum of $2500 on the card at one time. Strange but what was the $354.90 for then? She called them to complain that this wasn't what she ordered and was told it was not refundable.

My wife suffers from depression and this was just the trigger needed to throw her over the edge. She has been in a psychiatric hospital ever since.

Irate, I called them the next day and advised him that what was sent was not was agreed to. He kept insisting that was what was agreed to. When I told him that I paid for useless papers he said they are valuable products inside. Finally, I heard enough B.S. from that guy and told him to tell it to my state Attorney General and hung up on him. The very next call was to the PA Attorney Generals Office Bureau of Consumer Protection to file a complaint against them just as I did against FCS.

Major word of advice: To all of us that have been scammed by these jerks, why don't we band together and file a Federal Class Action lawsuit against them. I'm sure there is at least one attorney that looks at this report and would be willing to help us out. This has gone on long enough and it is high time we the American public fight back against these scam artists that prey on the "poor" people who have less than perfect credit and are willing to do anything to repair their credit.
