I bought a "packet" vacation deal from Hawaiin Airlines and they were supposed to get my miles credited to my America West/Usairways account. They still have not done it. What makes me even more furious is that I thought I was buying a luxury packet with the 5 star hotel name backing it. Just to find out it was so dingy. I got over it. I only got that packet because Hawaiin Airlines is supposed to be an affiliate of the airline I prefer and I want my miles credited. They asked for my miles number and each leg of the trip, I was told I was getting credited. After so many weeks, all I get is the inability to reach a human being on the phone and email auto-responses. Its rediculous.Sincerely,

Finally I wrote several emails and someone wrote back saying they would credit my miles to Usairways. Weeks later, it was not done.

Yesterday, I wrote back and the person wrote me back saying I will not get credit for those miles.

I would have never travelelled that airlines if I knew that. I bought the ticket because of what thier staff told me. I even asked te Phillipino lady is she was sure this particular seat, flight etc qualify. What an injustie .Apparently Hawaiin Airlines does this type of thing per things I have read online.

What an injustice! I will go to the media with this. Hawaiin Vacations at hawaiinairlines, was a scam. What infuriates me the most is that I called and made sure that the hotel I was booking was a five star hotel and it was a dingy hotel. What rubbish!

Hawaiin Airlines does not care about its passengers or the lies they tell online including the scam they pull online calling bootlet vacations and 5 star hotels what they are not.

Packages Aren't What They Seem

AUTHOR: Karl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 30, 2008

At least one hotel company and perhaps airlines subcontract out their packages. Once you book an XXXXX Vacation with the hotel company or airline they give your booking to a contract travel agency to handle. As long as you go on the trip as scheduled things are pretty good. You need to independently check out the hotel BEFORE booking the package and check on airfare to make sure that you couldn't do the trip cheaper by using a budget airline and booking the hotel direct using the AARP, AAA or some other organization that would get you a discount. If you have to change anything God help you. You contact the hotel or airline and they refer you to the contractor. In my case they changed hotels on me and it took forever and a threat of a lawsuit to get the money I'd paid transferred to the new hotel. I'll never book another package again. I don't care what money it saves.
