Upgrading Intuit Quicken Quicken Started Edition a ripoff of existing users Internet

I've used Quicken for years and wanted to upgrade to 2014. All I track are bank accounts and credit cards so the Starter Edition has everything I need. Intuit say this version won't convert data which is fine. I was going to have two versions on my computer as I've done before during upgrades, the old version for the old data and the new version for the new data.

But Quicken started requires you to delete any old versions so if I upgraded to the Starter Version I would lose access to all my old data.

What they have done is set it up so that existing users MUST buy a more expensive version paying for features that don't want or will ever use.  They are extorting money from existing users by requiring them to buy the more expensive version by holding your data for ransom. Pay the additional money or you will lose your data.
