*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Why they tell you NO
*Consumer Suggestion: You were told no, so they are a scam?
TOOK MY KIDS TO AUDITION TO BE STARS. IT WAS LIKE A FACTORY.
ONE BY ONE KIDS AUDITIONED RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER.WE WERE TOLD TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR RESULTS. SO WHEN WE RETURNED WE GOT NO FEEDBACK. ONLY THAT THE KIDS SHOULD RETURN IN 6 MONTHS TO TRY OUT AGAIN.
WASTE OF TIME AND WASTE OF GAS TO GET THERE.
THE PRICE IS OUTRAGEOUS.THEY SAID THEY LOOKED AT OVER 800 FAMILIES ,IM SURE THEY FOUND THEIR SUCKER QUOTA.
SO IF YOU WANT TO WASTE TIME AND MONEY GIVE THIS AUDTION A TRY.WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!

Why they tell you NO

I used to work at the JRP in Alabama. I did Sales there as well as for Road Shows. This is why they tell you NO about your kids...
Plain and simple, it's because they look at your occupation on the form that you filled out and if they don't think you have the money to pay for it or if you seem not into it AT ALL, then they will first attempt to push you on the phone, get you to agree to come in, get your child all excited face to face, promise big things and make they downfall of the situation look like your fault. That's why they say no. It IS a fraud and a scam. All they want is your money.

You were told no, so they are a scam?

Let me get this right. They told you that your kids were not ready to spend time and money, and you are calling them a fraud? You said right in your letter that you were "auditioning your kids to be stars". But JRP was honest with you and said your kids were not ready. Would you rather them asked you to spend money. I think if you are that much of a stage parent you should steer clear of auditions. The industry is competetive enough for children without parents projecting thier own dreams onto the kids.
