I use to frequent this Papa Johns location occasionally. And I still enjoy Papa Johns pizza but as for this location, I will not be returning to.

I still work for Papa Johns and it is all true
AUTHOR: Pepperoni Guy - (USA)

I have known Dominick for quite a while. And there is nothing UNTRUE about this entire report. He does have a nice side but he's mostly a jerk. The guy is a back stabber, a racist, rude. It's like he's got like two personalities.

First Thing I thought

That one jerk got all uptight and defending how it's okay to make black jokes. Yeah it's okay, we do all do it from time to time. Along with a few Pollack jokes, Jewish, etc. But when I store manager or owner can't refrain while that particular minority is IN THE STORE------COME ON.

Okay Dummy, Let me explain it
AUTHOR: Black Guy - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, October 28, 2010
I think the guy was making a brief generalization about the store. He didn't want to go on for 12 pages. If he said it happened, then I must assume it happened OR the whole report is untrue, which I see no reason or motivation for someone to do that. His original report was just that they are racist, not to describe every individual event that has ever taken place.

Dummies? Perhaps...

But did you read the report???
Where in this report does it state anyone spit in a black guys salad? Where does it state in this report that a black guys application was thrown in the trash as soon as he leaves?
The only thing this report states..is that the poor customer was patiently waiting for an order and was "forced" to listen to employees and/or management go on and on with African American jokes. If anyone was "forced to listen to African American jokes for "hours on end" that is one thing. But how long did it take to get the order and leave? Or if you are so offended why wait for the order..just leave.
Now if you have worked there and are truly witness to these actions, that is one thing..but don't call others dummies just because they do not have the ability to read your mind or somehow see in advance what happened to you personally. I do not know how you progressed this to sexual harassment but whatever it is..if you don't like the people you work with..don't work there. If they hired you...then how on earth can you claim prejudice? Did they hire you for no other reason then to harass you? Yeah...that makes sense.

There are some real dummies on this site

I don't think that 'spitting' in a black guys salad just because he is black is anyone lacking a sense of humor. I also don't think that throwing the application of a black guy in the trash as soon as he leaves the store is my lacking a sense of humor.

Um...

I don't think you two get it.... the EMPLOYEES were making inappropriate racial jokes. It is one thing if it is a customer or some random person on the street does it, but an employee should be expected to act with some sense of professionalism and respect while on the job. This person represents the company and if those actions are allowed in the front of the house for everyone to see, then I can only imagine the carelessness that goes on in the back where food is prepped. The people of this area surely WILL go take their business elsewhere and it should be appreciated that they've warned others not to waste their time at this unprofessional, childish establishment. Why do you guys pile on and bash the people who are clearly the victims here?

so????
AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

It seems to me you may be a bit uptight or lack a sense of humor. People tell ethnic jokes all the time. It does not mean the entire business is racist (well apparently not as you state ethic minorities who work there were participating too), nor does it conclude they were prejudice.
If we can laugh at ourselves and others, and worry less about political correctness, the world will actually be a better place. It's actually people like you that make a big stink over nothing, that keeps the hate going.
Were the jokes in poor taste?? Perhaps. But these are a bunch of guys working in a Pizzaria, not a Church..cut them a little slack maybe?

They won't be getting any more of my business
AUTHOR: Daddy DJ - (USA)

As a professional and educated black man, I will not be doing any more business with this particular Papa Johns. I used to go into that store at least once a week as I live right across the street.
#3 UPDATE Employee
Nawar is completely in the dark
AUTHOR: FastAsHell - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, September 05, 2010
If this guy only knew half of what was going on behind his back. Not long ago, he had two sons that stole some money from him. No one was ever sure which one did it. So Nawar fired them both. The next thing you knew, the one son got his job back as a manager and the other got his own store.
Now does that make any sense?????? He's got one son there right now that seems to be pretty cool but unfortunately, he doesn't go around kissing daddy's a*s like the others do. They just got rid of a guy that was a real good worker, who might be the same one writing on this thread. Nonetheless, it was all politics, nothing more.
Dominique is a punk that couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag and loves drama. THAT'S where the problems mainly lie. But until I can kind another job, I am just going to have to stick this one out.
#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds
I was told that I was being childish
AUTHOR: The Captain - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, September 03, 2010
for having the gall to ask for my last check. I told them that if they didn't send me my last check then I was taking them to small claims court. I wanted them to feel what 'being childish and petty' was really like. I really wish they that hadn't sent me my final check. I would have loved to have seen these prejudice low life's in court.

when I read this report. I used to work for this store. I have worked on and off for pizzerias for almost 20 years. I even owned my own place for about 4-5 years so I know the business.
