Quicken Loans After complaining about the horrible treatment, I requested and was promised my $500 back. I only received $145.75 3 months after contacting the President of the Company. Detroit Michigan

 I applied for a home refinance for my primary home property with Quicken Loans 8 months ago.  I was passed around from one person to another.

An appraisal was ordered and I paid $550 for it and the person performing it was aweful - would not listen to me when I tried to tell him about the upgrades I had done, did not show a compaison of other properties in the area, etc.  After he left, I contacted Quicken Loans to complain about him.  This was a person that Quicken Loans hired - not me.

2 months later I was notified I could not close on the loan because the appraisal was done "wrong" and I would have to have another appraisal done and pay for another one as well.

I sent a registered letter to the President of the company requesting the $500 I paid to start the loan process and was contacted by someone in Client Services to tell me I would be refunded the entire amount.  3 months ago, I was refunded $145.75 to my American Express Credit Card and am still waiting for the balance that is due me - $354.25.

As of now, I have not received any more correspondence even though I have left several messages concerning my refund nor have I received the rest of my money.

They are the worse mortgage company I have ever dealt with.
