Recieved a direct email from Regions Bank asking for me to update personal and secure information. And, I am not a customer but thought that folks who are customers might fall for this scam. I would say report this to your states Attorney General's Office, consumer protection services.

Regions Regions clearly states on their home page

AUTHOR: Sharon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 08, 2005

As a Regions bank costomer I had to reply.
With any bank, no matter who they are, if you receive any any email asking for personal information it is "Pshing" or a fraud.
Regions clearly states on their home page that they will never ever ask for personal inforamtion through an email.
