Went to Wal Mart today in Cave Creek, AZ. An assistant manager checked all our ad-match items and if one word on the product label didn't match the ad, she disallowed the discount. They use words like bone-in and assorted for meat, etc. All a savvy purchasing department has to do is scope all the local grocery store ads in the area and then change one or two words in their product labeling to be able to deny the ad-match. It's the old bait and switch scheme. In my opinion this borders on major fraud that is being committed millions of time per day around the country and the Feds should look into it.

In spite of your silly childish ranting, you still apparently don't understand how price matching works.
By the way, once you post on a public forum, it becomes anyone or everyones business, you don't get to decide who says what. If you don't like it, don't post.
None of the people who respobded to this post are Wal-Mart 'defenders', they just have a different viewpoit than you do.

My wife went back again and tried to buy rib eye steak. The same thing happened. We've been told that Wal Mart employees have been directed by management to challenge all meat ad-match purchases. So all of you a-holes who defend Wal-Mart, i.e, paid trolls, you know where you can go.

Good grief! "Bone in" or "Assorted" totally changes the product description.
Walmart honors their ad matches all the time. And that wouldn't be bait and switch anyway. That's advertising something that when you arrive to purchase it...they only have something more expensive!

Walmarts "price match" on ads is a INTERNAL PROMOTION!!! Which means that there is NO LAW that they have to follow. Your ignorance is astounding as your cheapness. The products in question that YOU wish THEM to price match MUST have the same verbage as the ad you are attempting to use. SO!!! If you have an ad from a grocery store that says "Bone In Pork Chops" then YOU have to get the "Bone In Pork Chops" from walmart in order to qualify for their price match. How stupid are you?? WHY would the "feds" get involved because YOU are trying to commit a form of FRAUD?!?!?! And YES IT IS FRAUD!!!!! Despite all of what I have said, the "rules' of their policy is CLEARLY UNDERSTANDABLE!! Its posted in the Customer Service area. Your problem is that YOU ARE CHEAP!!! And because walmart is NOT allowing YOU to abuse THEIR internal promotion THEY are the bad guys?? How does that work?/ YOU are a SCAMMER!!! YOU are attempting to bypass the promotion. They don't let it happen. So THEY are the bad guys because YOU are too dumb to read the information right in front of your face. NO RIPOFF HERE!!!! Just some dumb strumpet who thinks that they are entitled to a price match when the product they are asking to be price matched isn't even the product in the ad. Nope don't work for them, don't know anyone who does, cant stand shopping there. But I cant sit here and read this drivel without saying something about the ignorance of the poster. Heres a sound YOU should know well.......DURKA!!! DURKA!!!!! DUUUUHHHHHH!!!
