I was with ADT whom I actually liked and definetly regret ever leaving. I just had a baby and someone had called me saying that they saw i was interested in an alarm system. It was something I filled out to get free baby stuff. However, when the sales rep called he was very friendly and used the "first child, you want him to feel protected" tactic, which I completely give a thumbs up to. He was friendly, convincing, empathised and sold the product good. I asked the questions about cancellation, payments and the basics and everything he said seemed legite. He even told me that a credit inquiry would be made not to be shown up as an inquiry, but just for validation of a homeowner because they prefer to sell to home owners.

The appt was scheduled and when the technician came he was nice and took forever installing and when he tried to explain it he was lost. I was pushing for time because it took so long and when I read the contract, he specified that it was negotiable and eased all concerns I had.

I am always on the go and gone for days with my son and thought it to be nice and lucky because of the upgrade, free month and other promos. All that turned out to be a lie and they have been hassling me about payments and will not send an invoice without paying 50$ fee for hard copy. They are very misleading and deceptive, evasive and I just fell victim. It has been 2 months and I have not found way out. They said if I moved we could cancel, which we will be doing since my husband is in the military. Everything was false information and trying to dispute is a never ending process.
