I signed an advertising contract with AT&T Advertising Solutions to list our company in yellowpages.com on June 2010  after their sales representative gave us a "Category by Directory Report" from their company showing that 1,194 people had been looking for our service category from January 2010- June 2010.

We decided to go with a package in which we could be listed under 5 categories which will multiply the number of potential calls approximately by 5.   The sales representative said he would email us some suggestions for us to pick from.  He never did and our company was listed under the categories AT&T chose for us which were the wrong ones.

It took over two months for them to change the categories and it finally happened when a telemarketer called us to sell a print ad on the Yellow Pages book.  He was the one who fixed the categories because he was interested in our money.

I requested for the charges of the time the ad was listed under the wrong categories to be waived.  That was over 2 months ago, I'm still waiting for their customer service department to respond.

They were supposed to send us a Welcoming Kit that would  show us how to track the hits on our listing and how to ad photos, etc.   As of today November 3, 2010,  we have not received anything.  The only correspondence we get from AT&T is their invoices with all kinds of messages saying we are in trouble with them and that they will report us to the credit bureau.

The worst part of this is that we have received about 4 calls of people who found us on yellowpages.com none of them looking for services that we provide.  What happened with the 1,194 people looking for our main line of service plus all the other people looking for the other 4 categories under which we are listed?  That report was a fraud.

We sent a letter 3 weeks ago asking for a cancellation of the contract.  Customer Service and the Sales Department have been playing ping pong with us until today that the sales manager answered the following:

"Respectfully, we do not cancel customers.  You will be eligible to cancel when your agreement is complete, per our terms and conditions.  I will note your account with your request to cancel at the end of your term".

They can fail to  deliver their part of the contract and I'm still obligated to pay them?

Do not do business with AT&T Advertising Solutions.  They are not looking to provide a good service, they just want your money.
