As an Allstate customer for over 7 years , I want to warn you...
They promise a discount if you are a safe driver! They promise a safe driver check every 6 months that you are a customer... Well I never saw either one . Infact with our last increase we were told that the only way to lower our premium was to add another coverage ... Wheather it was home, renters or life... Our new premium was so high that we had no choice but to add renters. . . We paid little over 300.00 a month and never saw any of the sooo called safe driver ... Perks...! No tickets, no accidents... Nothing. Headless to say we are changing to another insurance company... Alot less... Because we are safe drivers!
This is what is called bait and switch...it's happening to so many drivers so beware.

Here's what Allstate "promises".....

IF you have the "Platinum Plan"

Platinum Plan As one of our best customers, you mean the world to us. And we can prove it. Just take a look at our at-a-glance review of all the exclusive benefits you have as part of your Platinum Plan auto package. All together, these make up one of the best insurance rewards packages in the industry because we believe you shouldn't settle for less.

Safe Driving BonusWe appreciate that you're doing your part to make the roads safer for everyone. We think you deserve a little recognition. So, while most car insurance gives you a safe driver discount, only Allstate gives you that plus a Safe Driving Bonus Check worth up to 5% of your premium for every six months you drive accident-free.Deductible RewardsWe value you as one of our best customers. And we don't just expect you to take our word for it. Deductible Rewards gives you an immediate $100 off your Collision deductible the day you sign up. Then, you get $100 off for each additional year you drive accident-free up to $500 total.Accident Forgiveness.  We believe being a good customer deserves a little good will in return. So, if you get into an accident, Accident Forgiveness can help keep your rates from going up just because of it starting the day you  sign up

Is THIS the plan you have?  If so, ask Allstate where your check(s) are.

I would bet you aren't signed up for this policy at all.

No, I don't work for them, have a perfect driving record and get NO 6 month checks, either, but I DON'T have the plan required to get it....you, too, right?

How did they "bait and switch you?"

Do you even know what that means?

It happens when a company offers a product or service at a very attractive price and when you go to get it, they sell you up to a more expensive product/service.
