Ascendtech.us Known old and faulty equipment sold as new Willoughby Ohio

My 16 year old son wanted to buy his first computer.

So, we went online and looked at the cheapest places to put one togther.

Ascendtech had the best prices, so we decided on them as a company.

The computer worked fine for about 2 months.

Then, the hard drive died -- it was not corrupt, it DIED.

The electronics on it do not even register the drive at the BIOS level.

So, first I called the HD manufacturer, and base on the S/N, found out that the drive was over 3 years old!

Ascendtech sold us this drive saying it was a new one.

Then, I called Ascentech......NO ONE would help me at all.

The hid behind thier 30 day warranty which is a BS one anyway.

I tried talking to tech support, customer support, and even management.

All I got was "So sorry.....BYE!".

This is a shady company at best.  They do NOT take care of thier customers.

My son learned a hard, and valuable lesson, and Ascendtech is a great teacher:  "Trust no one".
