I RESPONDED TO A 10% MERCHANDISE CARD BANNER THAT WAS ADVERTISED ON MSN.THE REBATE REQUIREMENTS WERE MET BY ME AND I KEPT MY RECORDS TO VALIDATE ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS. I EMAILED FOR AN ANSWER AS TO THE WHEREABOUTS OF MY REBATE AFTER WAITING THREE MONTHS. THEIR REPONSE WAS THAT I WAS MISSING SOMETHING AND I NEEDED TO CALL THEM.

I KNEW THIS WAS INCORRECT SO THE CALL WAS MADE. THEY THEN INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS ONLY AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE WHO RECIEVED THIS SPECIAL IN THEIR EMAIL. THE FACT THAT I RECEIVED THE SPECIAL AS A POP UP AS A MSN USER WAS IMMATERIAL TO THEM.

IT IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS TYPE OF CUSTOMER CARE CAN EXIST IN A CORPORATION(OR WOULD EXIST). LOOKING AT THE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS THIS COMPANY HAS, AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, OUR COUNTRY WILL BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT THIS COMPANY.............

Speak to a Supervisor at Rebate Centre

I have worked in the rebate department at Circuit City.
Circuit City offers "Corporate Rebates" to customers that have signed up for newsletters and such. These corporate rebates only show up in your mail or email.


What probly happened was that the rebate you submitted for was under the corporate rebates when you should have gotten a rebate form that was offered to all customers.

My suggestion would be to contact the CC rebate centre again, ask to speak to one of the supervisors. Explain to them that you saw this as a Pop Up Ad on MSN. You just have to speak to someone that is more willing to research your call fully. I'm sorry that alot of the reps they have there now are lazy or don't know how to search corectly.
Speaking from experience, ask for a supervisor, for the most part they have been at the Call Centre for over a year and are much more familiar with situations such as this.
