I'm almost completely shocked that this company has not yet been reported by either consumers or former employees. This "company", which is almost impossible to call this organization a company because the owner we'll just call "Matt" for the record doesn't like to pay his taxes. He doesn't like to pay his taxes so much, that he disperses the income from his business in an elaborate scam that is designed for the employees to carry the burden of paying his share of the taxes so he can become even richer.

Wow, sounds like the typical fraudulent scam, that my good friend Jeff, described in another report on a "Cellular Sales" of Knoxville... I'm pretty sure that they are different companies, but I wouldn't be surprised if the idea from this organization was somehow spawned by some idiot from Cleveland, TN, (A very strange small town that is renowned by neighboring cities for not only being weird, but home to alot of Am-Way Cults and other goofballs).

One thing that the consumers that read this post may want to know is that yes, this company will screw you over if you do business with them. Basically, If you happen to be dumb enough to buy a cell phone from these guys, you are paying way too much, and also probably are getting a refurbished piece of crapq, because not only is the owner an A-Hole that doesn't pay his taxes, he also likes to buy crappy phones to stock in his stores.

He does this because at&t (or Cingular or whatever the hell it is now) likes to charge him the same amount that they do other stores, but he wants to be able to charge the same amount, and make a huge profit on the sale of the equipment in transition from wholesale to retail. This is just a really nasty way of someone abusing the power that they have been granted by a big company like at&t for being an agent of their products/services. They recently closed about 20something of his stores, in what most that work there claim was done because "The company was making too much money"..

What really happened, is that at&t realized that they don't want shady people representing them in public, and realized that this organization is in fact very much on the wrong side of the law and morality in business..The owner recently purchased a Coldwell Banker Franchise for Real Estate in the Greater Chattanooga area, and I would honestly make sure that you do not buy a d**n thing from that business either, as i'm sure that he will continue the same if not close to the same business practices that he did with "Cellular Sales"... Just remember Consumers, Don't buy cell phones, or accessories from these guys, and honestly wouldn't even recommend going into any of their stores, as most of the salespeople are scum of the earth, and won't amount to much more in life than that.

Young Job Prospects, Don't even think about working for this company, unless you want to be involved , with a fraudulent organization that is more than likely going to leave you worse off than you were before...

"Mark the writer" writes nothing more than insults there's no proof in his statements either.

As far as the last statement praising all cell phone employees as "saints" well gee I guess they don't make mistakes or have bad days either.

And by the way, I worked for one of the largest communications companies in the world for 30 years. If you think lying (or as known in the industry "puffing") isn't done you are either puffing now or your head is in the sand.

Granted that person is a bit helter skelter but if you consider their frustration perhaps its warrented.

You are wrong Mr. Kaiser

AUTHOR: Mattman2000 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 06, 2009

I have worked for cellular express/sales since June of 2006. Mr. Kaiser is obviously upset with something someone at cellular sales has done to him. For those who work in retail or any service industry, you know you can't please everyone all the time. Did you break your phone and not purchase insurance, did you talk too much during a month and your bill was too high, or are you just too dense to understand how cell phones work. What ever your problem, I'm sure a cellular sales employee performed his/her job with extreme sensitivity and thoroughness. In the years that cellular sales has employed me, I have never been told or instructed to do anything immoral or illegal. Since most employees stay with this company for years, we know everything will come back to us.

Cellular sales have been a wonderful employer and because of them I have a much fuller and richer life. I enjoy my job and coworkers and my coworkers enjoy their jobs as well. Reps here make thousands a month and we still sell phones cheaper than ATT stores (most of the time). My customers love our stores and we get significant amounts of word of mouth returns. Since our working environment rewards the self motivated, we actively look for solutions to customers problems that most stores dismiss. If that is your idea of immoral Mr. Kaiser, then take a ethics class.
Thanks Matt and Brad for almost three awesome years.

Wow - someone needs to check their facts

AUTHOR: Mark The Writer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 17, 2009

As to the previous report filed, there has been no proof. There have been alleged fraudulence, thievery, tax evasion - and nothing but a dissatisfied idiot with incorrect adverbs, incoherent thoughts and no understanding of how the company works.

Strange how he mentioned Cingular and AT&T, when in fact Cellular Sales is a Premium Retailer for Verizon. Hmm...

Recheck your facts. You write like my daughter in first grade, and you have yet to present a valid point on any level, much less any tangible evidence (or even circumstancial evidence for that matter. There went your credibility.

Moron.

Thank you Matt

AUTHOR: #423 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 19, 2008

I felt the need to step up and defend something that's been so good to me.

We are not Scum. We are Sales people. We are all so fortunate to have an owner like Matt who splits everything 50/50 . I have never once felt ashamed to work for him, always proud and more than that lucky. I don't know about "Kaiser", but Matt has given me and my friends more chances to do great things than anyone else ever could. He has paid us more than anyone else ever would. People in Radio Shack sell the same products we sell, but they do not get paid even half of what Matt pays us.

Just so you know this is how "matt" really is to us.

1.) How many jobs can you make 5-6000 a month without a degree? Not many.
2.) We make our own schedules, and they even work around school
3.) Most reps work less than 32 hours a week.
4.) He keeps an up to date Cost list. If a phone price goes down, he adjusts it to help us price match other stores. Other agents update a Cost list maybe 4 times a year, not every month.
5.) We do not make our customers take media bundles on upgrades like 80% of most places do. BC our prices our competitive enough, we don't have too.
6.) We can almost give away accessories if needed. I'd like to see someone go into a cor store and ask for a free car charger. They would laugh at you....seriously try it :)

Because Matt Hamilton and his company I am able to own my own home, have a nice car, and live very comfortably at 21. How many people my age can say that?

Thank You "matt",

RESPONSE TO UNJUSTIFIED CLAIMS

AUTHOR: Matt Hamilton - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 05, 2008

I really hate to justify these claims with a response but most of them are just too absurd to let go.

Mr./Ms. Kaiser how do you propose to know who pays taxes and who doesn't? Cellular Sales / Cellular Express have been in business for 14 years. Personal and corporate taxes have been filed and paid each and every year. As well as city and county business taxes, F & E tax, property taxes, personalty taxes, sales taxes, FUTA, SUTA, and every other tax in every city, county and state that requires them. I believe if they had not been paid over the past 14 years that the IRS and/or every other municipality involved would have pad locked the doors years ago.

How is it that Mr./Ms. Kaiser you are an authority on the entire town of Cleveland TN and it's citizens. You label the whole town weird, cult, and goofball. Cleveland is a small town, nice place to live and raise a family. I was raised there but I've made Chattanooga, TN my home since graduating from college. Frankly I'm confused as to why Cleveland was even brought up.

The cellular industry is just like any business there are new product, used products and refurbished products. The consumer has their option to purchase any product they choose. Cellular Sales/Cellular Express has never knowingly sold any refurbished or used product, as if it were a new one, ever. That is morally and legally wrong!

Mr./Ms. Kaiser it sounds as if you're an upper executive at ATT to have such knowledge of their business practices. I cannot speak for ATT as to what really happened as you do. All I can say is that ATT opted to close several different agents' stores, in several markets.

Mr./Ms. Kaiser you seem strangley interested in keeping up with my business ventures. I'm not sure why. I have invested in Coldwell Banker and believe it to be a good investment for myself and my family. As a young business major at UTK, one of the first things I learned was that to diversify was a smart business practice.

I don't know who you are Mr./Ms. Kaiser. I assume the name is an alias since I don't recognize it. It appears from your posting that I have done something at some point to anger you. In business it's not uncommon to have disgruntled employees, associates, vendors, or even customers. Cellular Sales/Cellular Express, as well as myself personally does everything possible to appease everyone but regretfully sometimes that just not possible. Webster's defines Kaiser as a person who tries to exercise absolute authority. Usually a person who tries to exercise absolute authority is very difficult to appease.

I am not using an alias, I am proud to use my name as I have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.

Respectfully,
William M. Matt Hamilton
