If you do one thing after considering this company it should be just giggle and know that you have been warned. If you look at all the complaints and concerns just know they are very REAL and true. Even if some of the positives were true ( and they are not!) the negatives should tell you the complete story. It is the worst ever company to represent. They have a product, you sell it and then they dont pay you commissions. They have an excuse for it everytime. The terminal doesn't support the phone line. You sell services they CANNOT provide...they keep the account and dont pay you. The appointments are very very very bad...you are better off cold calling in your neighborhood so you dont waste your time and money...trust what people are saying. If it wasn't true they would be out selling and very happy...they wouldn't waste their time because they would be making money. They are upset and for the reasons that everyone is saying...its TRUE.

They are LIARS...and Crescent makes every excuse not to pay you...they send the wrong equipment, no communication, it takes weeks for them to complete a setup of a new merchant. You WILL NOT get paid. Its a joke.

I read the reviews and understood the whole contract and the deductions. Great no problem! you will get ZERO support from them. ZERO appointments...if you do get one...the merchant was told that they are recieving a free demonstration they have no idea what you are their for...the appointments are old...set a couple of weeks ago that no one showed up to and you have to try and get in to show Terry Bradshaw...no one cares a flying F about him...He is a paid spokesman...he is a spokesman for other crap also...$29,000 or less and Terry will promote your garage sale. The company as a whole is a total waste of your time...please re read that ....you will be sorry and writing the next report on this website. If even a 10% chance that they support you in anyway occurs you might make a few hundred...but you will spend far more on gas. Far more on time and frustration. It is a serious matter DO NOT waste your resources or effort. You will be paying them to work. They have no intentions of paying you anything and without explanation or concern take commisions.

If you want to pay to work, look like a total idiot at an appointment and feel like a total peice of crap at the end of the day then go ahead...you have been warned. If you want to do an appointment and then call your support expect to be on hold then expect that you have to put the merchant on the phone with him so he can be a total a*s to the merchant and then be told go knock on some doors..because thats what you must do to have any kind of success its ok...dont let them bully you...You can sell there services without having to be made a fool of. After you seperate you can continue without there so called support..its not worth the humilation and bullying that they put you through. You will knock on a lot of doors and get lucky.Just do it around your house so you can maybe make a few dollars...but you wont. Everything that others are saying is very true and more. IT IS A HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND YOU WILL BE SORRY...DO NOT TRUST ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!  I am being nice, I wont be so nice later expect more from me...just need some extra time to write more.

It's hard to not follow through and scream all sorts of boisterous comments about this company.  I worked for them over 3 years ago and left them for another company.  I had a passion for the industry, just not crescent. 

Of course they asked 'what are ya doing now' and i told them I switched to a new company.  They were getting ready for an attorney to get involved and charging me $2500 per merchant account that i solicited to.  They tried to take out $1000 out of my bank account, which wasnt there. 

I backed off and came back to the industry after the 1 year non compete clause was completed. This sort of company speaks for itself.  Simply putting into google 'crescent processing company' in the search bar, the first selection that pops up is 'complaints'.  I hated working for them.  I had to report in at 9:00 every day, go to apointments that they claim 'pre qualify and 2 times confirmed' that I was showing up. 

And EVERY merchant I went to, had no idea I was comming, and when I did show up, I was forced to put that merchant on the phone with my sales manager, and if I didn't, I would catch hell for it.  They pay you, when the machine gets activated after you sell the service, which if its just credit card processing, you make like $150.  And thats all you make.  NO RESIDUALS, where is the motive to help a customer after you sign them, no repeated income for your efforts which is what the rest of the industry is doing. 

They don't teach you what rates are, or how they work.  So when a merchant asks you 'what are your rates' or 'here's my statement do a price comparison for me' I have to stand there looking like an idiot because I have no room to negotiate.  I'm now past my 3 year grace period for non dispargement with this company and I want to put the word out. 

I want this company brought down.  Every business you walk into for now on, look at their credit card machine, IF ITS RED, or if theres a red diamond on it that says 'crescent diamond' http://www.crescentprocessing.com/equipment/ tell that owner he needs to ditch them and ditch them right away. 

If you know somebody that does processing, point them to it.  Almost EVERY account that crescent has, is on tiered pricing, and that my friends is taking advantage of your customers!  If your a crescent 'bigwig' reading this, have fun fighting back, because you know every bit of it is true. 

Your free equipment offer isnt so free when you charge like 1% higher overall cost to your customers.  and give them free machines that are really only $125 brand new and trap them for 4 years on a contract, and put a $495 cancel fee on it. 

If you're a merchant reading this, and have been solicited by crescent SEE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS packet, and look at page 2 and DRILL the sales guy, he'll be lost for words.  They have to give you this by law, and it is your legal right to see it before you do anything!

I have lost 3 friends that are in business over selling this service to them, they trusted me, and when i got out, they called me FURIOUS on how expensive the rates were, and still to this day will not say hi when i call or see them, crescent didnt just suck to work for, but it got personal too. 

Oh and the Terry Bradshaw video on their website, HE PLAYED FOOTBALL, WTF does he know about credit card processing!!
