After having all the same problems with direcway internet
and having no luck in making them cease billing and cancel
the service, i found a way to stop the billing and force them to cancel.

I changed the credit card info to a non working never activated credit card i recieved years ago and tossed in a desk drawer.

the card is invalid and cant be billed.

direcway billing avoidance

I used a debit card and had the bank crash the card so that direcway scam artists cannot direct bill anymore. I never felt so helpless as when I had no internet acess and the 102$ bill was coming in regular. my e bay business was going downhill,couldnt check my bank account and talk to my sons. directway and hughesnet are deplorable. If I did what they do I would be in jail for selling a product that didnt function.
