i went to BR/DD to get a bagel and some iced tea. The tea tasted funny and I tried it there and asked the employee- a seemingly deranged hispanic male by the name of 'david' if it was made fresh or was old. He got defensive and rude and said that it was 'fresh' and had just been made. By the tone of his voice-- no reason to be so angry over a simple question he sounded like he was lying. On top of that I was charged for a medium tea when I ordered a small. I was told by david the psychopath that a small iced tea is 1.86 but on the board it says that it's 1.49. He became defensive again and claimed that's what the price was, though I don't think that's true. I went home and had noticed by then the tea was upsetting my stomach and tasted very strange, so I called back to ask another employee if they had just made it fresh or if it was old. She claimed they had made some fresh tea right at that minute, and no customer had tried it. I told her I got tea around 15 mins ago and she said the one she had was just fresh and told me to come back to get some more. Since it's late at night it's the only place to get iced tea almost, so I grudgingly drove back to get some decent iced tea.

To my dismay, I went to the window and politely explained to the woman and she said "oh yeah you called in" and was handing me a bottled tea. I just explained to her that I wanted fresh tea, and she was about to get it for me, when david the psychopath who seemingly has some serious issues decided to interfere and start a battle over iced tea. The psycho came and began making a big fuss claiming...oh that's the SAME TEA I gave her earlier, and it's this and that and just being rude and obnoxious.

I explnied to the woman that he charged me for a medium and she checked on the register and said a small is 1.49, then the psychopath came to show her that no it's 1.86...they also claimed that it's 1.49 but with 'tax' it comes out to 1.86...i explained to these idiots that tax in 1.49 isn't 30 cents....they still claimed that a small iced tea was 1.86.

Then david the psychopath began yelling at me and saying "WHY U SO IGNORANT WHY U MAKING SUCH A BIG FUSS OVER THIS" while the whole time I was just sitting there witness this jerk yellnig at me and the one making the big fuss. He continued just yelling at me and being obnoxious and rude and I told this nutcase to please get away from me and stop yelling at me and call the other woman. He yelled "SHE DONT WANNA TALK TO YOU EITHER"....he continued berating me over iced tea saying he's gonna "give me my money back" when I asked him again that I just wanted another iced tea and not my money back. He contniued yelling at me...and then finally called the other woman who I had to explain to again that I just wanted another iced tea.....the psychopath david was angry and upset and continued displaying fits and bouts of anger over the situation and being a huge a**hole.

I explanied to the woman that he had been yelling at me for no reason and that I needed to talk to a manager and asked what his name was. I don't understand how this place is in business while thes uneducated ignorant whackjobs are working there who think they can treat customers in this way-harass them yella t them and fight them over 'iced tea' that they even said they would simply replace... namely the male that works there.... on top of it all still being charged for a medium drink when I ordered a small, while they swear that that's the price. I have no clue as of yet what the price of a small iced tea is, but on the order board it states 1.49, and it seems like these low lifes were not only over charging customers intentionally but also lying about it as well as harassing customers extremely for no reason. I think the lunatic who works there david nedes to be fired, and something needs to be done about the ignorant a**holes and clowns that are on the night shift there...previously the people working there were pretty nice, so the new ones they've hired are like rabid animals that need some serious help..

im the original poster...and have had numerous problems with dunkin donuts and many food establishments... who seem to want to mistreat me or other people like me...out of jealousy or
just whatever reason...I wud say in my case it is due to being very attractive and having a strong presence...and the people that work at these places seem to just want to talk bad about you
screw you over or lie to you-- I have been to many restaurants where they all 'know me' for some odd reason and servers/employees will
talk bad about me...even to people i come with...it does not matter where i go it happens...it is unfortunate sad and very unfair...
if u can only imagine going to a restaurant 2-3 times and by the third time...everyone seems to know you...for no particular reason
and in many cases...people lying to you or harassing you or many other things...simply because you are gorgeous or for whatever other reason... this is my experience...and again it is not fair or right....it is discrimation and prejudice....im postng this now for allthe morons who keep reading my posts and insulting me,
same crap basically...because im so tired of this and if i have to result to lawsuits im about to start doing so

Strange, you seem to get rude, obnoxious servers everywhere you go. I find this strange! Have you thought about looking at your own behavior to see if there might be something leading to the treatment you are receiving from these servers? My husband and I (being on the road for months at a time) eat out almost everyday and seldom, if ever ( I truely can't recall a single incident) have a rude server. We are treated with, if not always freindly, at least courteous service. Remember, how you treat others is how they will treat you.

I understand partically on how you mean, but come on now. There's no need to get racist, just because of a tea and bagel. I've been in situations where they got the order wrong; if it's something minor I get over it and move on with my life and if it's something a bit more, then I'll mention it. Ok the bagel was bad, but at the first sign of a problem, you could have calmly asked to talk to the manager about the situation, same with the iced tea. I think in your sub-concious mind, you like all the drama. And as for the extra cents, come on now. That's extra cents that you can find around your car. I don't make a big 3 year old hissy fit over something minor as that, you need to realize that these people are working and they go through the same stress as you do at what it is you do. I don't agree with the actions that have taken place between both you and the employees. And I also greatly don't appreciate those racist remarks, as being married to a Puerto Rican man and my child being mixed with latino and white, I take offend to every one-minded comment you have said. You could have easily pointed out the physical description of each employee with out calling them a "sand n*****" and "white trash" and "puerto rican p**ck". I don't need to tell you how to describe them properly, I'm pretty sure that what ever school you have attened has told you about tolerance and respect, unless if there's a banner with three Ks on the top or that infamous symbol used by Hitler engraved on the front door.

I can understand one or two bad experiences at a store, but everytime, come on. Sounds like you frequent these stores and find something to complain about and you slap a racist tag and holier than thou attitude. Believe me, people that work in these stores probably see you coming and stick the new guy or gal on the register and head for the back. Every comment you have made has a discouraging remark on the persons social status as you see it. That attitude will usually come across to the other person and they get defensive. I don't condone their behaviour at all if they are rud , but ask yourself, is my attitude toward these people causing this? If you want a all white yuppy service staff , it is not gonna happen in a fast food restaurant. Yes even the white people that wait on you are "trailer trash". In short, you need to take a long look in the mirror to find and fix your problems.

more problems with dunkin donuts-- seemingly in the 'orlando, fl' area....
if it's not mental puerto ricans, it's rude black women and then it's the most obnoxious trailer trash white trash sh*t you can find along with rude indian sand ni*ers.... sorry for the racial remarks....but i have personally had it up my wit's end with this horrific 'evil' franchise. the peopel they hire-- aer the worst ever. some are 'nice' but it's so rare.....DD/BR located on university blvd.... EXTREMELY HORRIBLE SERVICE by a very obnoxious loud white garbage sub-human a female who is so uneducated retarded insane and stupid....i have encountered this nasty troll 'once' and upon hearing her attitude/voice just drove off. i have done everything to avoid this nasty monster....she is one of the craziest dumbest people u can probably ever encounter... i went there to get a 'bagel'...how is it in this horrific society and land...u cannot go to a store to get a bagel without having to endure the psychosis of the crazed nuts that work there.... as i pullde up-- the nasty toothless hick working there had to come up and make some very 'rude' remarks about my sunglasses and insult me and start laughing....then she walks off to her employee saying "OH I MADE HER MADDDD' i wanted to punch the living sh*t out of this b*.... i drove off angry and upset....being made fun of by some retard workign at dunkin donuts... what kind of ridiculous stupid society is this....and this horrible franchise that only hires jailbird escapees that graduated from the 5th grade as employees??

The fact is that an employee at this store certainly needs to be reprimanded and maybe even terminated on the basis of very poor customer service. This individual represents the lowest quality of employee but does not represent all employees in the food service industry. Quite frankly you seem to be stooping to his level of intelligence and rudeness with all that judgemental name calling. If indeed this person is an ignorant a**hole does not help the situation in any way. You can call a customer service hotline available at any BR/DD store or online. I find it very immature unprofessional and equally uneducated to assume he represents all food service employees. In my years in the industry I have met many quality individuals who are working these low wage long hour jobs to pay for school, or at least as a secondary form of income aside from financial aid. So, to say that we are all uneducated "rabid animals" is in itself a very uneducated and naive statement. I understand you are upset by this experience but hope that in the future you will choose your words more carefully and stick to the facts about what actually happened and leave out your personal opinions about the people who served, or failed to serve you accordingly. As in all industries and professions there are those who do a great job, and those who do not, but this certainly does not represent the groups as a whole. And as for the comment left by another individual in regards to race as an identifying factor, is a name, gender and description of approximate height and weight not enough, must we continue to see people through a prejudiced lens and pre determined set of expectations called race?

I stopped going to this particular hellhole of a store-- and statred going
to another-- a little further away-- no worries-- still abhorrent customer service
during the night shift by a puerto rican prick who basically...was rude obnoxious etc...on a number of occasions to the point where I had to stop going there too...
there was only one normal civil decent employee at the other location, but unfortunately he didn't work there every night...and I got stuck with this really nasty prick who went out of his way to make my experience a nightmare everytime I went....so I began going back to this other store-- unsure of whether the same rude jerk was workign there, but some other employees- still rude people- 'were' workign there and inquired about my whereabouts....now this store serves 'old stale bad' bagels frequently. Sometimes they'er ok and other times they're not. recently...had to go backt o the store 3 times-- first time, bad bagel, 2nd time they gave me the wrong bagel and 3rd time... oh yes they got it right--who knows if it is done intentionally or not, but as I called back I dealt with a very rude employee who was not frinedly at all and told me to 'come back fresh bagels were being made in 30 mins' and said something to the extent of "is that it" rudely...this happened a couple of times-- no bagels, bad bagels-- why isn't this store or others making fresh bagels regularly and instead using bagels made from that afternoon that are bad and stale? why aer they being so rude to customers.. who are nice to them and who they aer serving bad food to? I went back in yesterday....drive thru-- ordered a bagel....the guy said "we don't have the fresh bagels...the bagels taht you want"..."I know exactly who you are and " somethign to the extent of me having to come back except it was in a very derogatory and threatening attitude adn tone as if I was doing something wrong by ordering a bagel......you know exactly who I am? why the interrogating or threatening attitude towards a customer who is just ordering a bagel? I asked these pricks why they don't have bagels made -- it was 4:30 am and they were using bagels from the previous afternoon, and even admitting they can't serve them....then being very rude to customers who are just politely inquiring whether they have fresh bagels or not...the jerk with the attitude claims he was the 'manager', and very busy all night... A prior experience with this store-- they told me to come back in 30 mins for fresh bagels after serving hard bad ones....when I got back to the store...the loser at the drive thru lied and claimed they had no fresh bagels....and it would be another 1.5 hours...then he put the manager on, and the manager said he had fresh bagels and to pull forward....and he did have fresh bagels.

I told him his employee, was telling people they had none-- what is wrong with this restaurant/store...and the low lifes that work tehre...and why all this fuss over a bagel-- they can't make bagels when their shifts begin and it is a night shift, and they lie and claim they're 'busy'... they're not busy because all they have to do is stick the bagels in the oven and make them....they just don't want to and the store is not only run so poorly with bad horrible service, and no food they should have made fresh and ready....but they are rude and nasty to customers and treat them in a condescending derogatory way and lie to them as well....now who are you supposed to complain about to this-- that you have to struggle fight get treated badly and lied to just for a dollar bagel at this hellhole of a store with the worst most pathetic employees? the district manager?

I didn't notice any negativeness in regards to race in her reports. As far as I could tell, she made reports exactly as I make mine. If the offending individual was black, hispanic, or purple, I would say so. This serves not as anything implied about the race, gender, etc., but merely as an identifying factor. I made a report about a lying McDonald's (see: lazy, ignorant, greensburg Ind.) employee and included the fact that (white) employee was suffering from rosacea. Of course, that's all some people could focus on, instead of the lying, cheating behavior of the employee. So, Melissa, I applaud your efforts to identify and single out these employees the best you can, no matter how 'sensitive' the information you provide may be.

You state the sales tax on the $1.49 purchase brings the total to $1.86, according to psycho. From the Florida sales tax table, the tax should only be $.09. http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/pdf/DR2A-i.pdf

I'd report this to the Florida Department of Revenue, If I were you. Tell them DD/BR is collecting money in the name of sales tax that the Dept. of Rev. is not seeing. Then I'd probably grab a copy of the tax table and buy another tea from David. Argue over the $1.86, and when he doesn't yield, demand a manager and whip out your tax table. Help get this psycho back to the alley with the needle stuck in his arm where he belongs!

more food service bullies and garbage that need to go

well ever since this incident, i stoppde going to this location and went to another...it's a bit further from me, but well I have no choice. The person working there has generally been nice...but thsi time....was a total jerk. Seemed like an indian possibly....he was very rude at the intercom...then when i went to get my things...I asked him some qusetions, he was just rude and had a bullying attitude. I asked him why the total was so much-- he claimed jelly was 30 cents. I was like...ive never been charged 30 cents for jelly before? the creep and prick claimed "well that's what you get" but his statements were in a very rude way as if....u think jelly is going to be free? I dont know if they charge for jelly but i havent been charged before and that is absurd to me....no restaurant charges for jelly since it's a regular condiment like everything else. Then he put something in my coffee i didn't ask for....and overall just had the rudest almost bullying attitude as if he was about to fight me....why do these nasty arrogant food service workers feel as if they have this right to bully and harass customers whatever way they want? why don't their managers do something about their sick attitudes.....why are managers just as bad as employees like this? you won't find more degrading disgusting filthy people than these jerks that work at drive thrus and in rsetaurants-- they're terrible people....and their goal seems to be, pick on customers and efel they have some kind of power/authority over them...plaese managers do something about the pitiful pricks that work at your restauants-- they are uneducated garbage and filth...that have no customer service abilities, are rude awful people, and you let these jerks get away with picking on and mistreating customers as they want....
