When First USA silently moved the rate of interest up from 6% to 28.74%, I have tried to cancel the card. I wrote letters, sent Emails and finally talked to one Don Ricciardi, FinancialService Advisor.

I explained that I did not want the card and was told, "that's too bad, because we will not cancel the card." Finally, in November of 1999, I reported the card stolen/lost. The Customer Service Representative told me, "I don't believe you because you have been trying to cancel this card, you can't just now call and try to tell me you lost your card!" "Well" I said, "I did."

I am still receiving billing notices and am concerned that this card is still active and after the nightmare I had with this company, I do not want ANYTHING to do with it. Please get them to STOP SENDING ME MAIL, BILLING STATEMENTS, EVERYTHING. Thank you
