When I had no choice but to go to them for a vehicle they sold us what we now believe was a lemon as well as other customers having same problems. Rightway is not a company I would recommend others go to for cars. Even though we have reported problems with our 2000 Malibu to them several times they will not correct nor will they take vehicle back. Because of the many issues we have had with the vehicle and the amount of money we have had to put into the vehicle and since those repairs are guaranteed for as long as we own the vehicle we have decided to use the problems we are having to our advantage meaning that even though Rightway claims that customers are supposed to be able to trade back in for a newer one after 12-18 months rather than give somebody else the benefit of what we have had to pay for we have decided to keep the vehicle once is paid in full and not turn back in for a newer one because that does not make sense. Rightway also told me we would have to put almost twice as much down as we did the first time in order to do that trade in which is another reason it does not make sense because I only had to put $500 down to begin with and can keep their vehicle instead of putting that much more down just to get a newer one.

Before you buy any used car, you need to have it checked out by a reputable mechanic.   Otherwise, you have no idea what you're buying.  Unless the used car comes with a warranty, any problems it has belong to you once you drive off the lot.

As for being able to trade in for a new car, that's an old salesmans' tactic.   They can tell you your car's hubcaps will magically turn into gold, but if it isn't on the contract, you shouldn't expect it to happen.

Regarding high interest rates.  You are responsible for that.   No one can force you to accept a high interest rate.   If it's excessive, don't sign the contract.
