We are sorry to hear of the negative experience received by this customer. We try to ensure cases like this are
kept to a minimum but unfortunately they can happen. See below our policy statement and response to this particular case.
Christmas is our busiest time of year, we keep a stock of all our items so that they can be shipped within 24 hours.
Items generally take 3-5 days to the US & Canada. We test delivery times throughout the year and over 95% are received within this time frame. However at Christmas the postal services are at their busiest also and delays can happen that are outside of our control.
We are contactable by phone and email, but there can be a backlog in our emails at this time of year we do have an auto response letting customers know about that. You can reach us also toll free on the phone 3.00am-11.00am EST (8am-4pm irish time). Mon-Fri, outside of these hours you can leave a voicemail. We respond to all voicemails as long as
sufficient information is left so we can identify a customer.
We also guarantee delivery of all orders. The cause of the problem was USPS. We see a small number of orders that get delayed with USPS. In those cases we may re-ship the order to ensure a quicker delivery.
We did offer customers the option of reordering and choosing fedex to guarantee delivery, that way they could return their original order for a refund when they received both, this still stands, and we will honour all of these. We are backlogged in returns, but rest assured they will all be processed, each customer will be emailed when their return is processed.
