Called on my home phone (left several a messages), a lady said to call Ken Hughes and it was urgent that I must return his call ASAP. She also stated this was not a sales or solicitation call. I didn't call him back (comes up Out Of Area). I looked up his name and number and found he is running this scam. Since I do not own any money to anyone and my house mortgage was just paid. And I live in South Florida. I know it should be one of these rip off scams.

Dave,
Ken Hughes is a debt collector for a company called Merchants Credit Guide. They are JUNK DEBT BUYERS.
You must have the same or similar name to someone that owed some money sometime in the past 25 years. These are very old, usually uncollectable debts, and they know it.
However, they are fishing for information on the actual debtor as they have little or no information in the file on a debt of that age.
Go to FTc.gov and file a complaint online, and then go to budhibbs.com to read all about Ken Hughes or just do a search for "Ken Hughes" on the internet. You will get thousands of results that will point to complaints against MCG CO.
They are lowlife. Just send them a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS letter as per your rights under federal law.
