I purchased a laptop computer.
I and was advised to buy the extended warranty. They said if anything was broken by normal wear or accident all I had to do was bring it in and it would be replaced or money refunded.
The truth is I was told the that Office Depot sells the warranty. They are not the warranty company. The unit was to be returned to this warranty companjy after they sent me a box to ship it in.
Well its been two weeks and four telephone calls and i do not have the shipping box.
This sdale of the warranty was misleading. The service to just get it shipped has been a night mare. This a highly aggrevating and total dump on a good customer.
I will go back to Dell. They have always backed all their sales warranties for me without incident.
Stay away from the Office Depot tricks.

You havent been ripped off. You just havent recieved a box yet. You do realize that you are not the only customer of either UPS, FEDEX, or the USPS. As such there is not an expectation of an immediate delivery directly to you for your box. Its a empty box it could have been crushed or damaged. And two weeks. WOW that must be an eternity in your fruit fly life!!! How about a little patience and understanding. YOURE NOT THE ONLY PERSON THEY HAVE TO ASSIST!!!! Once the third party insurance company recieves your laptop they will either issue you a email so you can go pick up another one at Office Depot, they will send a gift card to use at Office Depot, or they will send it back to you because the damages to your laptop are not covered by your warrenty. Either way, you havent GIVEN them a chance to rip you off. So this is yet another false report by a butthurt little waahbaby who is either too stupid or impatient to see that they are not the center of the universe.
