In October of 2001, I purchased a bedroom set from Rhodes for 2741.00 which is NO GOOD. I also purchased an extended warranty to go along with it. The bed is unusable and they are coming up with every reason not to replace it. I have sent them several certified letters to the store as well as to HRS who financed it. According to the agreement with a credit card purchase I should be protected against items that are no good. This is not the case.
They both are avoiding the issue at hand. I am at the point where I am through dealing with both of them and I am in the process of taking further actions against both of them.
I will NEVER buy anything from this retailer again. I also had a friend that was on the way to spend over $4,000.00 at Rhodes and I talked her out of doing so.
Something needs to be done about this.
