We took a vacation to Nassau Bahamas, we opt to purchase a membership with Royal Holiday Club only for the cruise benefits that was explained to us by the sales representative. In which she stated we would only have to pay port charges and taxes, well that was a Lie. We also received two bonus certificates that should have accommodated two additional cabins, again that was a
Lie.

When we returned home on August 5, 2003. We got on the internet to review the information that was given to us. On the internet we could not find the discount that were promised to us. We call 1-800-961-1810 and talked to several of the representatives, one in particular was Fernando who said we were mislead and that we would have to pay for accommadation at a discount rate. which was $400 dollars off a $2600 dollar cruise. That not a discount when there are several cruises that are cheaper. we found thid website about Royal Holiday club nightmares and ripoffs. Well we became victims to this company.

The same day we typed and mailed a letter to Royal Holiday telling them to cancel our contract, no response. September 3, 2003 we mailed and faxed another letter and the first letter we sent, still no response. October 7, 2003 another letter was mailed and faxed with the first two letter, no response. We canceled our contract within the time limit permitted, but the company refuse to acknowledge any of our letter or calls. Please Help!!!!!

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. If you are thinking of hiring them you just have to make sure you do not have to make any payment upfront.
I found this article that speak precisely about this, you should read it, that might help you to resolve many doubts:
