I tried to sell four MLB NLCS tickets through them, and they continue to hold my money. I was to have received it between 10/25 and 10/31/12, and was told that payments were processed on 10/15/12 (nine days after having sold the tickets).
StubHub doesn't just collect a 15% commission from the sale of your tickets. They also opportunistically scoop-up those tickets they believe are a good value (too low a price asked, or a fair price for really great seats would be examples), calling them "sold" so you--the seller--no longer have rights to them. Then, they turn around and sell your tickets to higher bidders before they actually pay you a thing! THey have no investment in the transaction until they pay you, but the tickets are long gone before you ever get your money.
My friends, familya nd I have had four (4) lowsy experiences with these crooks. It figures they're in San Fran, land of Obamanation, the Eden of Socialism, and our very own microcosm of everything that's truly wrong with a once-great nation.
StubHub sucks, folks. I'm headed back to the corner scalper, and StubHub is headed to court--all the way over here in Missouri!
