mary jarvis has evicted some of the people out of ivy terrace for not claiming their child support or ssi or whatever the matter was. but when it came down to a black man who resides at the ivy terrace still he was found guilty of not claiming his SSI and she told him he owed her $3000. he could not give her the money that day because he had none to give her. she alowed it to slide and made him make installments in his rent until the $3000 was caught up so he and his family wouldnt lose there place to live there. she never reported this to the feds or to the police station. nothing was ever done to him. he did end up getting it all paid off through a verbal agreement with mary jarvis and he is still living there in ivy terrace.
now how about the ones who get caught with these same issues and have been arrested, paid off what they owed to her and was still arrested and interrogated for hours over an issue that was taken care of already with mary and was arrested for this same charge even though it was paid? so not only do these people get arrested and pay the rent that they owe to her and resign her leases after wards and still have to go to court and pay a fine to the courts also.
what is wrong with this picture??
black and white is suppose to be the same right?? no discriminating. well why does one get away with the $3000 and some get arrested for less than that and get thrown out on the streets leaving them with no place to go????

paying for things that we shouldnt be paying for...

my husband and i moved in here a few months ago. we were charged for things in this apartment that we should have never been charged for. we had a broken door and when we reported it they said that because the door was no longer in working order that we would have to get a new one. they replaced our door and sent us a bill for $190. i am appaulled and outraged that she faces the tenants here with such bills like this.
how can this happen. this is low income housing and i thought that we were not to be paying for anything like this. it was all suppose to be replaced anyways seeing that we were awarded a grant to help fix up the place.
also the screens in our windows are al ripped and have been since we moved in here. i asked for them to be replaced and one of the caretakers told me off the records to try to live with it because mary would charge us seperate for al the screens to be replaced. why should i have to be paying out of my pocket for such things that were like this when i moved in. the upkeep is to be done by this housing project not the tenants.

a frend of mine was dating a woman that use to live at the ivy terrace. mary had it out for my buddy and when she didnt like him mouthing off to her after she belittled him she took him to court in front of judge lalonde and jack delahanty and had him banned from the ivy terrace for 3 years. he was unable to find go see his girlfriend and when he drove down to pick her up he wasnt allowed to even drive near there so she would have to walk so far so he could meet her whereever to pick her up and it was the same when droping her off. when he found an apartment he had to let a friend of hers drive his truck because he wasnt allowed in there to help her move her children and her belongings out.
what does this tell you about this woman?? but yet she can allow a man and a woman to stay there after they shoot guns at children?????
